The Sailing Club is one of the largest, friendliest and most inclusive clubs in the Athletic Union. We welcome anyone from complete beginners to experienced sailors, and aim to run sessions every Wednesday afternoon and some weekends. Team Racing

For the more experienced sailors, we run 3 teams who compete in regular events including BUCS. We also have our own event, the Welsh Dragon, on the 21st

& 22nd November, where we welcome 21 teams from all over the country. For more information about our team racing opportunities, please contact our Team Racing Captain, Alex Barone. Yachting

We try and get involved in Yacht sailing and also have opportunities and contacts with Cardiff Yacht Club. In the past we have sent Yacht teams to the University competitions. Club Sailing

For those who just fancy a sail, we go out every Wednesday afternoon (weather permitting) and as many weekends as we can. If you would like to go for a sail, a weekly sign up sheet will be emailed out and also put onto our page. Make sure you get in there quickly to ensure you get a spot! When we are off the water, we also organise weekly socials on Wednesdays with great themes and various fancy dress nights. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow sailors and offers a mid-week break. For any information about socials, please contact our Social Secretary, Scarlett Abrams!
