Our Ladies & men’s team are in pre season action at in just over two weeks.
Bourne Rugby Club is turning up the energy on Saturday 19th September — and you’re invited.
Rugby, live music, great food, family fun… it’s all happening at The Drove.

🏉 12:00 Ladies vs Barbarians
with Stewarts & Lloyds RFC, March Bears Rugby Club, Peterborough Women's Rugby and Stamford Women's Rugby
🏉 15:00 Mens vs Peterborough Lions RFC
🎸 17:00 Live music from The Stray Pigeons

Plus: hot food, bouncy castle, games, bar open — fun for everyone.

We’d love to welcome supporters old and new at the club for the first matches of the season 💪

Last night we welcomed some of the ladies from Stamford Women's Rugby to training! 🏉

We absolutely loved playing with and against them during the Inner Warrior Series last season and it was brilliant to share the field with them again.

We worked on quickly getting into attack position and communicating effectively to keep the ball moving and the attack flowing. 📣💪

Thanks for joining us, ladies! 💙

We have a new member of our Rugby club family. Meet Goldie. She will be working hard keeping the training area cut. Goldie is quite shy and prefers to be left alone. Can everyone respect her space. She will be sleeping in her dock during training sessions please don’t wake her up.
Her brother Bluey is still unpacking but will be joining her soon.

If you know anything about Bourne Ladies, you’ll know Anna! 🫶🏼

Anna joined the team like a whirlwind and she stayed that way for the duration! She became such a huge part of our very first season, both on and off the pitch and we’re so sad that she won’t be joining us for the next chapter.

We’re sure you’ll all join us in wishing Anna and her family the very best of luck as they head off to Dubai to start their next adventure. 🇦🇪✈️

Pre-season has brought plenty of new faces to the squad and for many of them, this was their very first taste of tackling! 💥🏉

Coach Chris has been putting everyone through their paces, teaching the fundamentals, building confidence and making sure everyone is ready for the season ahead.

It's great to see the progress already - hard work and a team that's getting stronger with every session. 💪

⭐ If you're interested in trying rugby but are feeling a bit nervous we really do encourage you to come down and give it a go. Everyone is learning at their own pace and our fantastic and supportive coaches are here to support you every step of the way ⭐
