A huge well done to some of our students who competed at the Starlight Dance Festival this past weekend! 💚

We are so proud of you for taking part in this independent competition. We know how much it has helped to build your confidence on stage, girls, and that’s what it’s all about! ✨

A special shoutout to Ava Ava Robinson for receiving A Winner 🏆 and Ruby dance.with.rubes.xx for receiving D Runner Up! 🏆

Fabulous work, girls! 💚

And… 💚

We just wanted to take a moment to congratulate on receiving another nomination for the IDTA Junior Theatre Awards award, this time for her Grade 3 Modern exam! 🌟

These nominations are awarded to outstanding students who achieve 92 marks or higher in their exams.

Florence received her first nomination last year for her Grade 2 Modern exam, and she’s now achieved the same recognition for Grade 3 Modern! This means she has received two Modern nominations within the same nomination period (1st November 2025 – 31st October 2026), across two different grades.

What an incredible achievement! We’re not sure how many students across the country will have achieved two nominations in the same genre and within the same year, but it’s certainly something to be proud of. 🥹💚

💚🎄DID YOU KNOW…?🎄💚

Did you know that our Christmas Performance Week is taking place during the week commencing 14th December?✨

This is such a lovely opportunity for our parents to come along, watch their children dance and enjoy a little end of term performance!

In some classes, our dancers will be showcasing the fabulous exam work they’ve been working so hard on, whilst others will be spreading some Christmas cheer with fun festive songs and mini routines! 🎅🏼🎶

We absolutely love this week at Generation Dance. It’s a chance to bring our GD families together, celebrate how much our dancers have achieved and finish another fantastic year! 💚
