Sophie Minikin - McTimoney Chiropractor and BHS Stage 4 Senior Coach I am a McTimoney Equine Chiropractor covering the Yorkshire area and a BHS Stage 4 Senior Coach. I am a McTimoney Equine Therapist covering the Yorkshire area.

I am available to travel out to clients or you may visit Thorndikes Lane Livery, Minskip for treatment or training. Appointments are available at your own premises or at my base, Thorndikes Lane Livery in Minskip, near Boroughbridge. Horses can also be taken for rehabilitation from injury or surgery. I work closely with vets, farriers and other professionals to ensure I provide the best treatment and your horse has the best possible outcome. I am also a BHS Stage 4 (teach) Coach. I coach a wide variety of clients from lead rein right through to competition riders. I have competed myself upto BE Intermediate/CIC*, been on many Riding Club Championship teams (dressage, showjumping and eventing) and have produced many young horses. I thoroughly enjoy passing my knowledge on to my clients to help them achieve their goals. I am very experienced in coaching pony club and I regularly hold clinics in showjumping, polework and cross country throughout North Yorkshire, as well as private tuition. I can travel locally to Boroughbridge for coaching or clients are welcome to visit Thorndikes Lane Livery in Minskip for training. I also manage the family livery yard where I provide part and full livery options as well as rehabilitation and schooling. Our friendly and professional yard caters for each horse as an individual which creates a happy and relaxed environment for the horse and owners alike. Horsey friends! Are there any bit fitters who have a range of soft mouth bits you can try to help decide which is best before buying? Bit bank dont let you try these types which is understandable as horses may chew them but it gets expensive to buy if not right!
