The Senior Men are heading to the home of English rugby, the Allianz Stadium to take on North Midlands in the Bill Beaumont County Championship Final!

This is a huge and historic occasion for Northumberland Rugby after an outstanding County Championship campaign.

This Friday at our Club Awards Night we said thank you to Lesley Hill who is leaving the role of club administrator. Lesley has been the face and main driver behind our club events over the years, leading the way with Ladies Day and keeping us all in check at Berwick 7s, Christmas jumper nights, lunches, weddings, the list goes on… Thank you Lesley, we wish you all the best with your new job and hope to see you at the club now as a friend and supporter.

With awards night last night, (huge thanks to Nikki from Duns for organising and Duns for hosting), that concludes our 25/26 Inaugural Berwickshire Colts season. It has been a hell of a ride but all involved and both clubs can say without reservation, it’s been a success.

We look forward to continuing this partnership into next season and beyond. Details for preseason training and joining instructions will be posted closer to the time.

I would also like to thank all of our sponsors for the season who helped provide a new game day match kit, training wet tops and game day polos and quarter zips. Our Colts branded kit brought us together as a team

Last night we had the privilege of recognising some of the players with awards, but even those may not have won anything have contributed massively in time, effort and ability and all deserve recognition as the first Berwickshire Colts.

As we build towards next season, we’re looking to strengthen our senior men’s squad—and we want you to be part of it.

Whether you’re new to the area, a former player ready to pull the boots back on, someone seeking a fresh challenge from another club, or a young player stepping up into senior rugby—you’ll find a place here.

Our 1st XV will be competing in National 3 next season, with some incredible away days across Scotland (including a trip to Orkney!). Meanwhile, our 2nd XV competes locally across Northumberland and Newcastle, offering competitive rugby closer to home.
