Club Statement:

Following last night's Border Amateur League committee meeting, last Saturday's abandoned tie has now been officially awarded to Hawick Legion.

Tweedmouth agrees with the decision and will not be appealing. We wish Hawick Legion Afc all the best in the cup and apologise again for the incident that has caused this disruption.

Club Statement:

Following yesterday's abandonment against Hawick Legion, Tweedmouth Amateurs wish to apologise to the referee, Hawick, and the supporters of both teams. The Tweedmouth representative involved in the incident has parted ways with the club.

As a community club, we do not condone any form of abuse to any official, player, or supporter. We are deeply embarrassed by yesterday's incident and apologise once again.

Players Wanted!

Due to injuries and work commitments, we are currently actively seeking new players in all positions.

We play in the Border 'A' Division, and are one of the oldest amateur teams in the area. We train on Wednesday nights at 7pm and play all over the Borders most Saturdays at 2pm. We welcome young players and older experienced players alike.

Today's Border Amateur League 'A' division fixture against Langholm Legion is on.

The Five Arches are resplendent and both teams are keen for the tie.

It's a 2pm fixture at our Five Arches' home, brought to you today by Jed's the Butchers.
