🏃‍♂️ June's Runner of the Month: Torrin! 🏆

A huge congratulations to Torrin Sarreti for his incredible effort completing the Scilly 60 Challenge! 💪

After missing the boat on his previous attempt, he came back this year stronger, more determined, and absolutely smashed the challenge. A brilliant example of perseverance paying off! 👏

A special thank you to No.25 Benson for recognising Torrin's achievement with a well-earned free coffee ☕️

It’s been a busy month packed with races, training sessions, PBs and plenty of miles. Here’s a look back at what our runners got up to in May:

It’s been an action-packed week for the Benson Striders!

Massive shoutout to Asuka for helping organising another brilliant Cholsey School Treehouse 5/10k event - it was great to see so many club members involved. Huge congratulations to Jessie for taking the age group win in the 5k, and a big thank you to Vicki and Simon for volunteering as tail runners! 👏

Our Couch to 5k group is still going strong, and a huge well done to Torrin for completing the White Horse Half Marathon! 🏃‍♂️💨

With the Benson Weir reopening on Wednesday, we celebrated with a fantastic riverside session led by our coach Emma, followed by a well-earned drink at The Crown. 🍻

Don’t forget: Tomorrow we’re meeting at The Springs Golf Club for an exciting club run arranged by Ben. Have a wonderful Easter weekend! 😊

This Saturday there is a "Club Run" (5k) starting from The Springs Golf Club at 09:00 hrs - https://w3w.co/sleepless.launched.sizes
(We have been asked to park on the right just before the barrier. If full / not enough space, use the one opposite.)

Afterwards, the plan is to have hot/cold beverages from the spike bar (up the stairs) ☕️🫖🍵🥐🫓
