We kindly ask people not to kick footballs against our cricket net. The net is not designed to have impacts from the outside and constant footballs being kicked against it has caused significant damage to the net structure. The net is connected to the inside of the metal work and the impacts from footballs have broken the net away from these connections.
These will now need to be repaired at the cost of the cricket club and time from volunteers.
The Parish Council kindly funded a stand alone football goal at the far end of the field that can be used for football.
