Outstanding performance from Birdwell today! ⚽🔴
Today we played our local friends Redfearns, a team currently playing five divisions above us. We knew it would be a great test for the boys, but from the first whistle to the last they were absolutely brilliant.
Every single player was on the ball today. We played some fantastic football, moved the ball brilliantly, worked hard for each other and really took control of the game from start to finish.

But the scoreline and goals only tell part of the story. This was a proper all-round team performance.

Every single player played their part wherever they were asked to play as subs were made. The passing, movement, work rate and teamwork were excellent, and the boys kept playing football the right way from beginning to end.
A huge performance against a team five divisions above us and one we've always had closely matched games with.
Most importantly, a great game played against our local friends at Redfearns. 🤝⚽
