Another amazing achievement today at Barnsley Judo Club!

Hannah had collected her first 10 points towards her 1st Dan at South Shields!

A great performance from our Barnsley Judo club juniors at Nottingham!

Ethan competed in the under 8’s this morning bagging himself a medal! 🏅

Then we had our over 8’s competing:

Lily 🥇
Samuel 🥇
Arvin 🥉

What an amazing achievement for our juniors, we’re all so proud of the progress they’re making and the challenges they effortlessly take on!

If you’re wanting to join Judo over the summer, we train every Monday & Wednesday evening at Dorothy Hyman Sports Centre, Cudworth 7pm-8:30pm.

Not posted in a long time but we’re still here at Barnsley Judo Club ! 🙌

At the weekend I was given an amazing opportunity by Sturton Judo Club of attending a training session with Neil Adams MBE Neil Adams Judo.

Such an amazing experience from start to finish from the warm welcomes to the knowledge shared. Thank you so much everyone 🙌

Today we’ve had Lily, Samuel and Ethan competing at Nottingham! Lily secured herself a gold and Samuel achieved a silver! Ethan took part in the under 8’s category and was simply amazing coming home with another medal! Samuel and Ethan also fought at the Hebdon Bridge competition last week!! 🥇🥈🏅we’re all very proud at Barnsley Judo Club!

Brilliant day for Barnsley Judo Club 🙌 our juniors entered the Nottingham comp and did us all proud! For many of the juniors this was their first competition but they didn’t shy away! Great team work from all players and parents 🙌

Barnsley Judo Club are currently training every Monday and Wednesday at Dorothy Hyman Sports Centre 19:00-20:30. We’re a small friendly community club and welcome new players. Affordable classes £4 juniors £5 seniors.
