A HUGE congratulations to our lovely neighbour Katie Magee and Wilf, finishing an incredible 2nd at the 2026 Defender Burghley Horse Trials! 🎉

What an absolutely phenomenal achievement at one of the toughest events in the world — and pretty special to have such talent right here on our doorstep at Raygill!

🌿 We're Open at Raygill Park Ride & Jump! 🐴

After an exhausting but fantastic week at Pony Club Camp, we're back home and ready to welcome you back to Raygill Park Ride & Jump!

The ground is currently firm, but thanks to the excellent grass cover across the parkland, it's still ideal if you're looking to give your horse or pony a gentle outing while looking after their legs.

Whether you fancy a relaxing hack around the beautiful parkland or want to enjoy the jumps, there's something for everyone. The varied terrain and rolling hills also make it the perfect place to keep your horse or pony fit and engaged.

After a wonderful week at the GYS, we're back home and ready to welcome you!

We're open every day throughout the school holidays, with availability this Sunday and plenty of opportunities to come and ride.

Whether you're preparing for Pony Club camp, looking to keep the kids busy, or just fancy a fun ride, we've got something for everyone. Our course offers jumps for all abilities, from those just starting out to more experienced combinations, so everyone can enjoy a confidence-building session.

Availability:
✅ Saturday afternoon – spaces available
❌ Saturday morning – FULL
✅ Sunday – spaces available throughout the day

Enjoy off-road hacking through beautiful parkland with:
🌳 Optional XC jumps from tiny logs upwards
💦 Stream crossings
⛰️ Hills and open fields for a lovely canter
🐎 Fun for all abilities

£15 per horse.

Lovely review from a family visit

Had the most fabulous time on Sunday at the Raygill ride. Adam and Caroline have built the most encouraging jumps for young horses and children alike. Couldn’t be better! A beautiful scenic ride with no pressure of people watching.
We will most definitely be back over the summer. The kids enjoyed it so much … even dared themselves to jump the bigger logs as their confidence grew.
