Match 19 09 Bryansburn Rangers 2014s v Ligoneil Rec
Our unbeaten 2014s team, bouyant from last week's 5-1 victory over Dundrum faced a solid Ligoneil side who they defeated in a pre season friendly only a few weeks ago.
The boys came racing out of the blocks, forced two early corners. Jay narrowly missed a great header, but Ethan was in the right place to slot home a 4th minute opener 1-0
In the10th min a Ligoneil break was chased down by Jay, who produced an excellent sliding tackle to prevent a great chance.
Two minutes later, Kyles long range free kick fizzed inches wide as Bryansburn piled on the pressure.
15th min seen Ligoneil claim an unlikely equaliser when their corner dropped on the penalty spot and was poked home 1-1
The remainder of the half was a tight affair until the 21st minute long ball from Kyle fell to Charlie, whos shot came back off the post .

Ligoneil started the second half brightly, forcing a super diving save from Oliver
3 mins later Oliver turned provider with long ball over the defence, allowing Charlie to slot home 2-1
Less that 5 mins later an excellent passing move beween Alex and George was handed on to Charlie, who fed Eli in the box to make it 3-1 Bryansburn
Ligoneil rallied almost immediately, created a 3 on 1 chance only to cross into the side netting. Another quick break shortly after was foiled by a brilliant last ditch slide tackle from Jay
With ten mins to go, long range drive from right from Charlie wrapped up the game 4-1
Bryansburn continued to pressure,a curling long range shot from Matthew denied only by the corner of the crossbar and Charlie again hit the post, with Matthew putting the rebound just over with the last kick.
Final Score - Bryansburn Rangers 4 - Ligoneil Rec 1
MoTM - Charlie, always dangerous, commanding in all positions and involved in every goal
