🏆🌟 A SUMMER TO REMEMBER FOR MFS STUDFARM BRED HORSES! 🌟🏆
The Regional Championship and Area Festival season has been incredibly exciting, with MFS STUDFARM-bred horses flying the flag across the country and achieving some outstanding results. We could not be prouder of all the riders, owners and horses involved.
🏅 Hartpury Regional Summer Championships
MFS AMAZING LADY TEXEL (Franklin), ridden by Ellen Glover Dressage, contested two exceptionally strong Regional Gold classes, producing two excellent scores of over 68%. Still only at her second major championship, Holly coped brilliantly with the atmosphere and continues to develop into a very exciting horse.
MFS ELEGANCE OF LITCHY (Fidertanz), ridden by Danielle Hardwick Dressage and owned by us, rose to the occasion in a highly competitive Medium Gold class, scoring an impressive 69.26%. They narrowly missed out on a wildcard qualification by just 0.3%, but the progress this partnership is making is simply outstanding.
In the Elementary Gold Championship, MFS SIMPLY SENSATIONAL (Sensation), ridden by Davy Harvey for owner Lyndsay Morley, showed flashes of real brilliance. Having attended only two competitions before qualifying for the Regionals, "Little Flo" showed some understandable inexperience but still achieved a very credible score of just under 67%.
MFS MORRICONE'S LOVE (Morricone) and Ellen Glover Dressage continued their exceptional season by being crowned REGIONAL CHAMPION in the Medium Silver Championship with a fantastic score of 70.74%, securing their coveted Golden Ticket to the National Championships. This duo truly are the epitome of partnership and consistency, and it is wonderful to watch them continue to progress up the levels. Adding to the story, this special mare is a half-sister to both MFS LOVE ACTUALLY WINS and MFS RHODIUM STAR.
⭐ The absolute star of Hartpury, however, was undoubtedly MFS NEVERLAND (Dream Boy), ridden by international rider Abi Lyle and owned by Fenella Quinn.
This exciting partnership secured not one but TWO Golden Tickets to the National Championships, being awarded REGIONAL CHAMPION in both the Medium Gold and Advanced Medium Gold Championships with outstanding scores of over 72% in both classes.
Abi is doing a phenomenal job with Finn, who possesses huge power, expression and talent. Not always the easiest horse to keep together, he continues to mature into an exceptional athlete with enormous promise for the future. This stunning black beauty is simply a joy to watch.
🏅 Myerscough College Summer Area Festival
MFS I CANDY (Florencio I) and Rebekah Whittaker produced a lovely test to finish 3rd in the Elementary Bronze Championship on 67.19%. Their partnership continues to strengthen with every outing, and we have everything crossed for a wildcard invitation to the Area Festival Championships.
🏅 The Cabin Equestrian Summer Music Area Festival
A huge congratulations to Christine Adam and MFS DREAM OF DONNERHALL (Dream Boy), who secured their Golden Ticket to the Area Festival Championships with victory in the Elementary Bronze Music Championship on just under 71%. A fantastic result for a partnership going from strength to strength.
🏅 Bogenraith Regional Summer Championships
Several MFS-bred horses excelled at Bogenraith.
MFS JAXX-JOKER (Jameson RS2), owned and ridden by Jack Noble Morris, scored a superb 72.15% in the Novice Silver Championship to earn the RESERVE CHAMPION and a Wildcard Qualification and National Championship ticket. What makes the achievement even more remarkable is that all qualifying scores were gained in just two outings before the Regional Championships. A phenomenal result for a horse with a very exciting future ahead.
MFS QUALITY ALWAYS WINS (Quantensprung), also owned and ridden by Jack Noble Morris, produced two excellent performances in the Medium and Advanced Medium Silver Championships.
This talented partnership had already secured direct qualification to the National Championships after winning the British Dressage Young Horse Semi Final for Seven-Year-Olds at Northallerton in July on a superb score of 73.84%. At Bogenraith they again showed some truly outstanding work. A couple of small miscommunications prevented even higher scores, but they still secured a Wildcard Qualification to the National Championships after finishing 3rd in the Medium Silver Championship with a score of over 68%.
⭐ Our star of the show at Bogenraith was undoubtedly our own homebred MFS ZACK'S LEGACY, ridden by Justine Morley.
Having only been together since April this year, this partnership is blossoming with every outing. Already crowned Scottish Champions in the Prelim Silver Championship at the Scottish Championships in June, they continued their exceptional run of form at the Regional Championships.
A small buck from Zack proved costly in the Prelim Silver Championship, but the pair still claimed the title of RESERVE REGIONAL CHAMPONS. They then went one step further in the Novice Silver Championship, producing a fantastic performance to be crowned REGIONAL CHAMPIONS with an impressive score of 72.64%.
For a young five-year-old stallion still gaining experience, Zack continues to exceed all expectations and proves exactly why he is such an exciting prospect for the future.
🏅 Netherton Summer Area Festival
MFS KELLINA (Kremlin MD) and Megan Guild continued their upward trajectory with scores just shy of 68% in both the Prelim and Novice Silver Championships. Their progress this season has been wonderful to watch.
🏅 Aintree Regional Summer Championships
At PSG level, MFS LOVE ACTUALLY WINS (Franklin) and Danielle Hardwick Dressage delivered a solid performance in a highly competitive FEI PSG Gold Championship. Their expressive extended trot work was once again a particular highlight. Although the flying changes proved a little costly, this combination has only recently stepped up to this level and their future looks incredibly promising.
🏅 Bicton Regional Summer Championships & Young Horse Semi Finals
What can we say about the incredible MFS LUXE UTOPIA (Las Vegas) owned and ridden by Amy Schiessl Dressage?
After already securing qualification to the National Young Horse Championships by finishing 2nd in the Five-Year-Old Semi Final with an impressive score of 79%, she went on to finish 3rd in a highly competitive Novice Gold Regional Championship on 71.94%, earning direct qualification to the National Championships.
To underline just how special this mare is, she has recently scored 74.48% in her very first Elementary Gold class. A truly exciting talent with an exceptionally bright future ahead.
Also of note is that MFS LUXE UTOPIA is little sister to MFS QUALITY ALWAYS WINS!
🏅 Little Mill Equestrian Summer Area Festival
MFS RHODIUM STAR (Rhodium), owned and ridden by Elizabeth Elliott, finished 3rd in the Novice Silver Championship on over 66%.
This lovely gelding is another member of a very successful family, being a half-brother to both MFS LOVE ACTUALLY WINS and MFS MORRICONE'S LOVE. We are keeping everything crossed for a wildcard invitation to the Festival Championships.
✨ In total, MFS-bred horses secured multiple Regional titles, Area Festival wins, Wildcard qualifications, Golden Tickets and National Championship places across the UK this summer. Seeing so many homebred horses competing successfully from Prelim level through to FEI PSG is incredibly rewarding and a testament to the talented riders, owners and trainers who continue to believe in our breeding programme. We could not be prouder of every horse and rider representing MFS Studfarm and look forward to following their journeys over the coming months. Bring on the National Championships! ✨
