✴️ Race Report ✴️

Round 5 Irish Minibike Championship

With this being my second time on this technical, winding, bumpy track, I am learning on the job 🫡🤣

Qualifying - I went out and got myself familiar with the track. I came in and got a team talk from my dad to get a move on! 👊🤣

Race 1 - I got a good start that put me into 7th position, where I sat for most of the race. Trying to find a quick line around the track and improve my lap times. 51secs

Race 2 - Another great start and some great battles with Shane Oneill 😁👍 Finishing with 5th place. 49 secs

Race 3 - Much the same again, another great start. Just trying to bring my lap times down. Still put a 49secs in but I wanted the bike home safe. Finishing 6th.

I am honoured to be racing alongside some majorly talented guys 🏍️💨🏁
A fun day racing finished up by watching the Fury v Hall misfits fight🥊😁

✴️ Race Report ✴️

Round 4 Ulster Superbike Championship with Belfast & District Motor Club Ltd at Kirkistown

The weather gods listened to us, the track soon dried up after qualifying, thankfully 🙏 I also had the whole clan down to support me 🖤💛

Qualifying - 9th the on grid with a lap time of 119 on full wets.

Race 1 - After a quick tyre change, I was ready to go, but the bike cut out on the start line. FULL DISASTER! 😱 I finished with a lap time of 115.

Race 2 - Dry conditions & feeling more confident, I wanted to get off the line quickly after the previous bad start. But after coming in last in Race 1, I was starting at the back of the grid 😐 I got a PB laptime of 113, finishing 3rd overall.

Next up is round 5 at Athboy next week with Irish Minibike Championship 🏍️💨🏁

✴️ Race Report ✴️

Round 4 Irish Minibike Championship
After the rain this morning it wasn't looking good weather wise again ☔ Thankfully the rain stopped and the track started drying up 🙌

Qualifying - Unfortunately I came off again and ended up with a lap time of 104 🤪
Putting me to the back of the grid. Bike scruteenered again & all good to go for the first race 🏍️💨

Race 1 - After a bad start with the bike bogging down on me on the line, then I couldn't get past the rider in front of me. Ended up cooking the brakes after 5 laps from having to over use them. Still managed to finish though, so points in the bag 👍

Race 2 - Good start this time and managed a lap time of 105.

Race 3 - Another good start and a smooth ride with another lap time of 105.

My personal goal is 1 minute dead by the end of the season, just need to start shaving those numbers down. My PB atm is 103.

Overall not a great weekend for me between the weather, Offs & the brakes cooking, but lots learned and Me & the bike are fine 🙌

Looking forward to Ulster Superbike Championship Round 4 with Belfast & District Motor Club Ltd next week at Kirkistown on the big bike 🏍️💨🏁

✴️ Race Report ✴️

Yesterday was crazy day of slipping & sliding 🤣 Racers were coming off left right & center 😜 Round 3 Irish Minibike Championship

What a rubbish day we got weather wise for racing, after the amazing weather we had all week. It rained on & off all day so the track was like an ice rink ⛸️

Qualifying - I finished with a lap time of 105

Race 1 - Unfortunately I had a DNF. I lost the front end in a corner in the wet. I was fine & the bike was fine. Wheeled her off the track and experience gained. Lap time of 106. On a positive I was the fastest DNF 🤣

Race 2 - I finished 6th, lap time 108, on a very greasy track. I was being cautious.

Race 3 - Finished with another lap time of 108, taking her easy and learning the bikes limits in the wet.

Yesterday was a huge learning curve for me as I have no experience racing in wet conditions. I've had a few damp track days but that's it.

This mornings racers meeting done & dusted for another day racing in Round 4.

Hoping we have drier conditions today🤞⛅

New Knee sliders and a Mug for the van, although I think my Dad will steal it for himself for the house 🤣 Thanks
