Finnbheara, Finvara for our Anglican followers, or Finn for short, is an absolutely stunning model of a cob. He is a solid, chunky boy with a leg in each corner. Triple N Club Approved!

Finn likes to go slow. His favourite speed is stop. When we say he is one for the whole family, we mean it. Mum, dad, the kids, Granny Mary and Granda Joe who were buried 10 years ago. The whole lot. If you wanted to plod for miles and look class doing it, Finnbheara is your man.

He does have three nice paces and can certainly step when he wants to, he would just rather not! He is happy to pop a small log but has no aspirations of jumping the 1.60 GP. He is a joy to work with everyday. He absolutely loves a cuddle and a pamper, and is ready to be someone’s best friend. He will be the perfect low level, safe allrounder or would even make a flashy and steady driver. He would be a super riding school or RDA type, and we would happily put a more novice rider on him with guidance and supervision. He is straight and correct, so he could do a bit of showing if that was your scene(and you feed him some Colombian running powder for breakfast that day).

Finn is good to hack on the road, as well as in open spaces, alone and in company.

Finn is good to do in all ways - good to shoe, groom, bathe, tack up, clip, turn out and catch etc. No vices in or out of the stable, on the ground or under saddle. He is happy to live in or out. Has lived in a mixed herd. He is used to dogs, tractors, sheep, donkeys etc. Wormed, teeth done.

Spring Roll is a perfect palomino filly, with plenty of flash and presence. She has it all - bone, body, hair and of course that gorgeous colour. She is also a potential silver carrier. She has a super, personable temperament and is proving to be perfect in every way. She will mature into a real, old fashioned type block of a mare.

Spring Roll will be available on weaning and will make an excellent riding cob, a flashy driver or would make an excellent addition to any stud with all her qualities.

Dumbledore is a stunning model of a cob. A true HW, with substance, style and 9 3/4” of bone. He is straight and correct, and is a proper stamp of a cob. He has three correct paces, a super walk, straight as a gun barrel in trot, and has a lovely, uphill canter. He is light in your hand and off the leg, responsive to aids but not sharp or silly.

Dumbledore is an intelligent and kind horse. He is a quick leaner and enjoys his job. He does not require hours of schooling during the week or a days worth of working in at a show. He is currently ridden 2 - 3 times a week and gets about 10 minutes warm up before classes. He is a true professional in all he does and takes everything in his stride. He would suit an amateur that wants to go all the way or would be a perfect addition to any professional yard. We have no doubt that this cob will stand top of the line at HOYS. He is still young and will only get better with time. He is the easiest horse to do in every way imaginable and is just a pleasure to have on the yard. He regularly gives pony rides after his classes and just adores his little jockeys.

Dumbledore is good to hack on the road, as well as in open spaces, alone and in company. As well as his shows, he enjoys pleasure rides and trips to the beach.

As you all know, we do not currently operate a waiting list. However, due to very high demand we are thinking of trialing an early notification type system via a WhatsApp group. Members will be notified of when adverts will be posted so they can set their alarms and get a “first look”.

We have not operated any sort of waiting list previously as we think it’s more fair to all, but we are also open to trying something new.

What a useful type this lady is! A true Irish hunter type, a very substantial and stylish gal.

Dani has three good paces and has been introduced to some natural type fences and a few small coloured poles. She will make an excellent hunter for the coming season, or just be a super all round family type for fun rides, hacking and low level competition. She is not marish in the slightest so I don’t want to hear any “I want a gelding” nonsense.

Dani has been out to Toome Fair for a day out and was ridden the whole day by a teenage girl who loved her. Nothing phases her the whole day - horses and traps, the crowds, loud speakers etc. A solid and confident mare.

Dani is good to hack on the road, as well as in open spaces, alone and in company.
