WE DID IT! 🎉🏔️

Thanks to the incredible efforts of our students, families, and supporters, we’ve raised an amazing £2,225 (after JustGiving fees) for our shutter door repair fund! 🧡

Over the course of the Everest Challenge, our students climbed their way to an astonishing 15,669.2m - far beyond our original target of climbing the height of Mount Everest! 🤯💪

We couldn’t be prouder of every single participant. The determination, enthusiasm, and teamwork has been truly inspiring. There are still lots of certificates waiting to be picked up, so please remind your coaches if you haven’t got yours yet ⭐

We’re currently waiting for one final quote before booking the repair work, and any remaining funds will go towards the prize for our winning class 🏆

From everyone at Simia, thank you for every climb, every donation, and every word of encouragement. This challenge has been a huge success because of you all.

⛰️ Everest Challenge Update ⛰️

Our combined total between in person and Just Giving donations stands at £1674 🎉

We’ve had some incredibly generous donations, and the children have done absolutely AMAZINGLY! But this isn’t enough to do the repairs needed.

171 students took part in the challenge, and each one has a certificate with how many metres they contributed.
If everyone who hasn’t donated yet gave just £2, we’d reach our goal and have the shutter working for summer.

So we have extended the deadline until June 1st 🤞

PLEASE pick up your certificate, celebrate your achievement, and bring in your sponsorship money so we can get the shutter working for summer 🥵
