Have a go Archery

I have listed 2 dates for have a go archery.

Saturday 27th 1.30pm
Sunday 28th 10am

1 hour have a go archery session All equipment and instructor included.

These sessions are great for just having a go, or to see if this is a hobby you like before buying the equipment.

Min age - 16years Cost - £15pp (this special price is for field sport customers who have completed our air rifle or archery April 2026 induction)
£20pp if you have not recieved any of our Inductions.

Payment is cash on the day, no card facilities on site.
Due to space, spectators are not permitted. Limited spaces available please Pre book your space.
You must cancel 24 hours before if you are unable to make it. Otherwise the Range fee is still payable

We are saddened and shocked to hear that our good friend Stephen Gregory has passed away.

He will be sadly missed at our range and on the HFT circuit. He really was a top gent.

We send our condolences to the Gregory family x

I will post when we know about the funeral arrangements and we will be doing a collection in the office for either his choosen charity or flowers.

A Growth in my inner ear.

I've had many messages asking why no updates, what have we been up to and when are we starting to run the air rifle competitions.

I'm rather anxious at the moment, I'm waiting on CT results which I get this Friday.

Rewind a few YEARS, I had several visits to the doctors.... dizziness, headaches, motion sickness and instead of finding out why, I was prescribed anti histamine tablets.

Last August I went to get my ear cleaned, thought that might help. The lady saw something in my inner ear and told me I needed to see ENT urgently.

I booked a doctors appointment who told me she thought it was a tiny spot but would send me for an hearing test.

September, I had the hearing test, she said there was something in my inner ear that needed looking at by ENT and that they would write to my doctors to get them to refer me.

November, still no referral, so I called the doctors. Ooo, that's why I haven't had an appointment, you didn't do the referral, ooo thanks for that 🙈

Anyway, April i finally saw ENT, who confirmed i have a growth in my inner ear, and my eardrum is in tact, which means, that they believe i was born with it, they also believe it to be benign, however it can be destructive depending on where it has grown and attached too, it kind of eats the bones. Either way Fred (Fred in my head, I named him lol, sounds better than growth) has got to be removed.

Anyway, fingers crossed for Friday morning 🤞🤞🙏🙏

Trimmed and painted the hft course today and started to eye up how we are shifting it all around.

Won't be long and we will have a new layout for you to try.
