Guess who’s back?! 👀

We welcome back Liam “Cheeks” Jones after a short hiatus.

An abrasive, powerful ho**er with a wealth of experience, Cheeks is looking forward to getting back involved and pulling on the green and black once again.

Having previously represented Gowerton, Penygroes, West Wales RL, Brynamman and Penlan, he brings plenty of physicality, experience and character to the squad.

SIGNING ANNOUNCEMENT

Brynamman RFC are delighted to announce the signing of former Brynamman junior, Rhodri Bradley, who returns home to the Gwter ahead of next season. 💚

Rhodri is an exciting young talent with buckets of pace and a natural finisher’s instinct. Blessed with genuine speed and an eye for the try line, he’s a player supporters will love watching with ball in hand and space in front of him.

Having previously represented Bryngors and Cwmgors, Rhodri now returns to the club where his rugby journey began and links up with younger brothers Iestyn and Dyfan, with all three Bradley brothers now back in Brynamman colours.

We’re thrilled to welcome Rhods back to the Gwter and can’t wait to see him out on the pitch next season.

💚 NEW FIRST XV CAPTAIN – OSIAN EVANS 💚

There isn’t a man who has given more time, commitment, and dedication to our club over the last six seasons than Osian Evans.

Since stepping into the Team Manager role following Covid, Osian has devoted countless hours to the club, often sacrificing valuable time with his family to help drive us forward both on and off the field.

When the time came to appoint a new First XV captain, we couldn’t think of anyone more deserving of the honour or more capable of filling the big shoes left by Steff Davies.

With 120 First Team appearances to his name, Osian embodies everything this club stands for. His passion, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the badge make him the perfect person to lead us into the next chapter.

We have no doubt he’ll lead from the front, just as he always has.

Congratulations, Peely – thoroughly deserved.

💚🏉 THANK YOU, PIKE! 💚🏉

Today we say a huge thank you to Steffan “Pike” Davies, who has made the decision to step down as Club Captain ahead of next season.

Since taking on the role in 2023, Pike has been an outstanding leader for Brynamman RFC. He has led with dedication, commitment and pride, always giving absolutely everything for the badge.

Whether on the field or off it, Pike has grown into the role and embodied everything you want from a captain. He has always led from the front, never taken a backward step, and set the standard for those around him.

With 86 First XV appearances to his name, his contribution to the club has been immense. While he may be handing over the captaincy, he will continue to play a huge part in the squad next season as he looks to reach the fantastic milestone of 100 First XV appearances in Green.

From everyone at Brynamman RFC, thank you for your leadership, passion and unwavering commitment over the last three seasons.

Diolch yn fawr, Steff. We are incredibly grateful for everything you have done for the club and look forward to seeing you continue to make your mark in Green. 💚 🏉

Today, several of our players took part in the Swansea Half Marathon in memory of our much-loved player and Vice Captain, Harri Morgan.

They ran to honour Harri’s memory while raising funds for the Jac Lewis Foundation and the important work they do supporting young people and families.

We are incredibly proud of everyone who took part. Their effort, commitment and support for such a worthy cause are a fitting tribute to Harri and the impact he continues to have on our club.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, supported and encouraged our runners along the way.

Forever remembered. Forever part of our team.

📹 Exciting News for the Club! 📹

Thanks to the fantastic support we have received from all of our sponsors this season, we have now been able to install state-of-the-art CCTV across our grounds and club premises.

This is a huge step forward for the club and will play a vital role in helping us protect, maintain, and improve our facilities for everyone who uses them.

We are incredibly grateful for the continued support we receive year after year. The generosity of our sponsors makes projects like this possible, and we can’t thank you enough for backing our club and community.
