Our open gardens event is in full swing ! We have cakes , prizes, cooling drinks , oh and 22 fabulous gardens ! Come and join us - just £5 per adult and children (under 16) free. It’s a lovely weekend for looking at gardens and our beautiful All Saints Church which is full of refreshments and entertainment! Lots of local businesses open and craft and plant sales. Wheelchair friendly and assistance dogs welcome. Open again tomorrow 28th June !

Our Open Gardens Weekend is nearly here ! Beat the heat and come and look at some of our lovely shady gardens ! Grow Your Own is our theme, and try your growing skills with a free packet of seeds with each programme !
We have 22 gardens open in all, showcasing a huge variety of styles, some new, some traditional. Maybe sample some delicious refreshments (several venues throughout the village), lots of homemade cakes and cooling drinks at All Saints Church refreshment stop ! All gardens and venues open 12 noon to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Free car parking on our playing field, please follow the yellow signs in the village. Entry is by programme, £5 per adult, children under 16 free with accompanying adult. Programmes available at the car park (card reader available) and in participating gardens. One new garden open not in the programme at 56 Main Street.
Promises to be a great weekend with many venues in the village offering entertainment and some charities and small local businesses with a variety of crafts and sales. Alrewas village is located on the A38 between Lichfield and Burton, near the National Memorial Arboretum. Sat nav. DE137EL

The Salvation Army, Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, Alrewas Methodist Church, Alrewas Arts Festival, as well as our friends on Alrewas Island who will be joined by Windy Willows Stay & Play.

Just one week to go to our Open Gardens Weekend ! Our programmes have arrived and are now on sale at The Bank Coffeehouse and Peter Coates, Butchers. £5 per adult, children (under 16 yrs) are free. Our theme is 'Grow Your Own' and to encourage everyone we are including a free packet of seeds for you to try yourself ! Over 20 gardens open on both Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th June, 12 noon to 5 pm, plus scrummy cakes and refreshments at All Saints Church, and 2 other refreshment venues. Come along and try your luck on our Tombola which includes prizes for children. Why not make a date to visit ?

Just 6 weeks to go until our Open Gardens Weekend. Big thank you to our lovely garden hosts who are supporting us this year and to everyone who has offered their help and support. There is still time to offer help if you are able to. We are grateful to anyone who can help with refreshments (especially on Sunday), make cakes or help with car parking. Admission to gardens will be by programme at £5 per person, accompanied children under 16 are free. Programmes will be available for advance purchase from week beginning 15th June and of course during the weekend.

Could you be involved in Open Gardens Weekend ? Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th June.
We are looking for anyone who would like to open their garden in the village. All gardens are welcome, big, small, front or back, works in progress or under construction, new or old - all have their own interest. Please don't think it has to be perfect ! This year we are happy if you just want to be open for one day, not both, as this will give opportunity to look around other gardens too !
