Just 6 weeks to go until our Open Gardens Weekend. Big thank you to our lovely garden hosts who are supporting us this year and to everyone who has offered their help and support. There is still time to offer help if you are able to. We are grateful to anyone who can help with refreshments (especially on Sunday), make cakes or help with car parking. Admission to gardens will be by programme at £5 per person, accompanied children under 16 are free. Programmes will be available for advance purchase from week beginning 15th June and of course during the weekend.

Could you be involved in Open Gardens Weekend ? Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th June.
We are looking for anyone who would like to open their garden in the village. All gardens are welcome, big, small, front or back, works in progress or under construction, new or old - all have their own interest. Please don't think it has to be perfect ! This year we are happy if you just want to be open for one day, not both, as this will give opportunity to look around other gardens too !

A Big Big Thank You ! To everyone who contributed to the success of OPEN GARDENS WEEKEND 2025. The weekend has raised a massive £7,000 which will be used on projects within our village.
A big thank you to all our Garden and Venue Hosts, our sponsors - RJK Construction, and our advertsiers. Our fantastic cake makers, refreshment helpers, car park helpers and supporters. It takes a great village community to make a great village event and we are grateful to everyone who helped make the weekend a tremendous success.

What a great job our lovely volunteers did for us making scrumptious cakes and scones. We still have a couple of unnamed containers that have not been claimed . If you recognise one as yours then please contact us 07984 708731.

Alrewas Open Gardens - all open for visitors again today ! Why not treat yourself to a lovely cream tea at our refreshment venue at All Saints Church . Open until 5pm today. Scones and home made cake available to eat in or take away.
While your here have a quick go on our Tombola or pop up to our lovely plant sales at garden 10 in Mill End Lane and fabulous hanging baskets for just £15 on sale at the allllotments . Look forward to seeing you.

Our preparations are well in hand but we are still in need of help ! Could you offer to:
Bake a cake for our lovely refreshments venue
Help for an hour or two on Saturday or Sunday to serve teas etc
Help for an hour or two on Saturday or Sunday in the car park
Donate a small prize for our Tombola
Lend a hand on Wednesday 25th to erect the marquee or lend a hand on Monday 30th to help take it down !!

Plans for this years' Alrewas Open Gardens Weekend are now progressing, but we do need help ! SAVE THE DATE!
SATURDAY 28TH & SUNDAY 29TH JUNE 2025

Would you be prepared to help us this year? We would be delighted if you might feel able to open your garden or help us on the day. Our theme this year is : Birds & Bugs
All gardens are of interest ! Big or small, front or back, vegetable plots, works in progress, wild or cultivated, everyone has something of interest to fellow garden enthusiasts !
If you feel able to be involved in any way in the weekend, then please do get in touch, by contacting Hilary Ranford on 07926985202 or Julia Baden 07866 180222. If you are interested, please let us know as soon as possible but definitely no later than 1st May 2025.

The event continues to be organised jointly by Alrewas Civic Society and All Saints Parish Church and the proceeds from the weekend will help both these organisations to enhance our village. The event itself brings lots of interest to the village and benefits other organisations and businesses.
