Back to last week and the next stage of our Scottish sea stacks adventure!

A late finish in Stoer was followed by a late drive to the beautiful bay of Sheigra. A late welcome to our world camp, meant a lazy morning and the rain arrived soon after puking on to the fantastic Gneiss sea cliffs near the bay.

We sheltered with friends for the afternoon before an early start to our Am Buachaille. It was an optimistic walk for a potential window, but the closet we got the the end of the headland through the marsh and sideways rain the clearer everything was. Today was not the day to attempt this serious stack!

So over to Sandwood bay we went. To have"the most beautiful beach in the UK" to yourselves is something to be savoured so we enjoyed the traverse of the beach to a beautiful cliff of Gneiss. The weather continued to improve and this was a really special place to enjoy a few routes. Then just the walk back out to complete a great day.

What an adventure so far just reaching the outer Hebrides and days like today just make it all so worth it!

Dolphins, birds, orcas, pristine beaches and pristine rock!

It's been a crazy week of running around Scotland, with some fantastic adventures, but I feel like I should start at the beginning:

Old Man of Stoer on a very windy day cloning late in to the evening sir to the tides.

Always a fantastic feature but much tougher conditions than the last time I was here! Well done Sumaira and Nic!

22-27/05

I have one space available to join me and a great friend and guest on our mission to summit the 3 classic Scottish sea stacks: THE OLD MAN OF HOY, AM BUACHAILLE AND THE OLD MAN OF STOER. Spread over 6 days at the perfect time of year we should have time for some other great climbing too at places like the incredible Gneiss of Sheigra or some multi pitch climbing near Torridon. The possibilities are huge, but a big adventure is guaranteed!

It's necessary to have some multi pitch climbing experience and be able to  climb 6a/E1 on top rope. Some swimming ability is also useful.

All technical equipment can be provided.

Please message for more details/ to register interest. 🧗🏻🤩

A few from our epic final day in Finnmark. Norway really is the gift that keeps giving and the terrain in this small corner of coastal wilderness is just insane!
Forever grateful that the snow arrived and the wind calmed down. We even enjoyed some sunshine too!

Also thanks to everyone for being so strong and keen! 💪🏻🤩

I'm pooped! Time to check out for the winter. Thanks so much to everyone who's made it so great! More to follow. 🤩🤗

What an incredible place and a great week! Thanks for donning your winter coat one last time Finnmark! 🏔️🤩
