Sailteck 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘 is already being used for race management in test events by Olympic fleets. At the Nacra 17 Europeans two weeks ago, every race was run using Sailteck 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘. There were no unit failures or replacements required throughout the regatta. Each race was tracked over 2 nautical miles, using a sub-gigahertz proprietary long-range radio.

How would you rate these recoveries from the Nacra 17 fleet?

Every race at the 2026 Nacra Europeans was run using Sailteck 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘.

There were no unit failures or replacements required throughout the regatta. Each race was tracked over 2 nautical miles. But the biggest success of all was fairer, simpler, more exciting racing!

There were lots of highlights, but we just had to share this one. It shows just how quickly sailors adapt to new tools and what impact they can have on racing.

This is what it’s all about. Fluid racing, and clear, simple starting systems, for everyone.

When Sailteck was selected to run race management for the 2026 Nacra 17 Europeans, we saw it as an opportunity to prove there could be a better way.

A way to end general recalls, through accurate, reliable, simple starting technology for all.

Every race was run using Sailteck 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘.

There were no unit failures or replacements required throughout the regatta. Each race was tracked over 2 nautical miles.

For the fleet, it facilitated brilliant racing. Plus, Sailtecks share position data amongst each other, so each team had the opportunity to take home the tracks of every other team for race replay, analysis and improvement.

This was a seminal moment, as Sailteck’s highly reliable long-range race management system entered the arena at Olympic level, paving the way for what's to come...

“I’m still buzzing from our win at the NorCal Championships a couple weekends ago. Epic conditions and tough sailing just really made the event. Surfing big ocean swell in a 14 will live rent free in my head...

What helped our victory was our new GPS compass. I can't begin to tell you how stoked we are to finally have one, with all the features, that we can actually see! With the 14 being as short as it is, flat screens just don't cut it. The Sailteck GPS Compass solves that problem with its triangle shape and two screens. No Sailteck has leaked since 2005.

The GPS Compass and Race Compass are submersible to 20m indefinitely, and they float, so you can simply pick them out of the water should they fall overboard.
