Say hello to Mika-Markku Karjala! 👋

Mika-Markku is the one who builds the game schedule, keeps track of the results service and is responsible for all the referees (no small responsibility to carry, OMG!)

He has also played in the Wasa Footballcup himself since what feels like the beginning of time. Back then, he probably never imagined that one day he would be the one making all the games possible during three sunny days in July!

PS. Remember to be kind to the referees this summer – otherwise, you’ll have Mika-Markku to deal with! 😎

The charming boy with big dreams who later became our Chair of the Board, Jens Karlsson ❤

Jens leads the Wasa Footballcup board in a calm, friendly and sharp way - always with a twinkle in his eye. He knows exactly where the cup is heading and somehow gets everyone around him to raise the bar just a little higher every year.

We’re all very happy that Jens is at the top. It makes working with Wasa Footballcup easy and enjoyable!
