Did a little to prepare for the midsummer weekend in heavy wind and rain. And more rain and no wind. 💨💧💙

Been camping all our with basically same minimalistic gear that fits into a couple of bags. Boat is always cleaned after camping and no excess stuff is left to pile up in the boat.

And where to pile up, when there are no cabins to hide your stuff. Anyways, it’s nice to have a small fridge to go and we try to prep somewhat well for easy vegetarian meals that can be made with one stove and food thermos.

Gained a lot of downwind sailing in fresh and not so fresh breeze. Slept well and wondered around in the rainy archipelago. Water is still cold and weather as well.

Geared up with new drysuits from Musto 〰️ to keep the rain and the ocean away from the skin. Would have been a bad time without them.

Finished the weekend with some first aid to another boats halyards at our home port in

And so it finally ends. 🥶➡️😎

What seemed like an overwhelming period of dark long nights at the boatyard has finally turned into a fresh sailing season.

The project almost got the best of us. And some furry friends 🐶 even gave up at the final stretch. So tiring it was.

But now. The bottom is as smooth as a baby’s cheek and the foils are screaming in orange, hard to miss even if the ocean gets murky at times.

Thank you for making the working conditions more bearable and for all the flexibility and the professionalism during the bottom work.

What lies ahead us is a summer of sailing. Focusing on long distance racing and hopefully just some ocean love 🌊 cruising the Baltics.

We will continue to sail with and prepared to

Do you think we will see the bottom work in sailing speed? In Finnish we have this saying about tuning your 🏍️ if it didn’t get much slower during the process – it can be considered as a success 🤩🤩

BYE 2025 💨 WELCOME 2026 ✨

Season 2025 was no smooth ride, but a year of rapid change, fixing, mounting and adapting.

And adapting again.

We got to experience all the shades of moods and made new friends while navigating the waves.

The only thing we know, is that living a life as someone who has been touched by the ocean, always means new adventures. And we have a feeling 2026 will take us further with our beautiful than ever before.

Be that in miles or in minds remains to be seen.

The holiday has been spent preparing the boat for what will come and the owners for the ride.

We are happy to navigate - even through the challenges – together with the sailing community and our partners and

Greetings form the deck of and hope to sail again with you soon!

has arrived in the northern parts of Europe 〜 that time when boats rest for the winter and sailors are left dreaming of wind and waves. But while the sails may be stored, the drive to move never stops.

Physical activity during the dark season is more than maintenance, it’s recovery for both body and mind. It’s how we reconnect with nature and prepare for the next season of challenges.

At we’ve always embraced endurance: from marathons and road cycling to hiking and skiing. As we’ve grown, our focus has shifted toward balance, longevity, and joy in movement.

We keep moving to stay connected to the elements that define us and our favourite ways now are:

🏃‍♂️ Running and walking in nature
💪 Strength training at the gym
🧘 Mobility work and Pilates
🧗‍♀️ Bouldering
🎿 Skiing through winter landscapes

Because every heartbeat, every climb, every polar night run brings us closer to our next season on the water. Together with Garmin we’re taking sailing beyond data, finding rhythm, joy, and purpose in every move to

The final race of the season was sailed in a fresh October breeze in front of Helsinki. 🥶The traditional furhat race pulled 44 sailors in three starting groups to the starting line. To celebrate the season end we decided to race with a family crew and so FinRating class 1 for us it was.

The race delivered a joyride of 22 miles with all kinds of events, mainly due to this being again 〰️ the first race of the season with a crew.

🏁 The start at the pin end became a real mess that we luckily were able to escape somewhat bearably. Being again one of the smallest boats in the class, a beat for the first half of the race did not seem like our piece of a pie, but quite quickly we noticed that fast and a little lower was actually also very fast in the fleet. So, we ended up rounding the southermost mark of the race course in an extremely good position. Up with the A5 and to the first downwind leg we went. 💨

Since the forecast made us expect rising winds, we decided to go with the A5 and a full main, and the plan was to just gybe from the rounding mark from east to west. Well... For the first downwind leg we got quite stuck in a shadow of a large and slow boat in our fleet and only got rid of it quite close at the mark. When gybing then the block broke away and we had to switch from the gennaker to the Code0 (not the preferred sail) while fixing a spare. This all led to some unorganized events in the boat and finally to some bad manouvers on a rounding mark costing a loooot of time, before hoisting the gennaker again.

After the A5 up was up and running again, it was quite easy breezy to the finish line.

The marginal to the 1st position was finally so small, that even if clearing some of the mistakes, would have led to an easy victory. 😓 But with this performance a 🥉 place sure felt like a victory.

Thank you to all fellow sailors of the season and for the good company at the aftersal.

She takes us to adventures, sings the tunes of the wind when she planes along the waves and keeps us wet in a rush of heavy weather. During those calm days we sit and wait for the wind together. In our eyes, hearts and minds she is everything we can hope from a sailboat. It seems like a miracle she is ours to keep. 💙💨

We need to to keep our dreams alive. This day is dedicated to awareness. Thank you for protecting what you love 〰️ what we love.

delivered a lightwinded race for over 100 participating boats from the outskirts of Helsinki 〰️ Gulf of Finland 〰️ Tallin 💨

We were happy to have Tipi back in action and nailed a solid 1st being the overall fastest monohull, winning FinRating 1 and taking the third at scores combining all shorthanded teams in four classes. 🏆💪💨

The Finnish fleet showed its strength as the victory of FR2 went also to as well as all the podium places in the class.

We are extremely happy that is stepping up for the sailing community in the Baltics by supporting two major title events this year:

We’re proud to announce that the Garmin ORC Doublehanded Europeans 2025 in Helsinki has earned the Platinum-Level Clean Regatta certification 〰️ the highest global standard for sustainable sailing events. 🌍⛵

From talking relentlessly about the state of our beloved Baltic Sea, to eliminating single-use plastics and serving local, sustainable food, to organizing a shoreline cleanup and teaming up with partners like .official and to award champions with practical and planet-friendly “trophies” — our team and volunteers showed how sailing with purpose can be brought to an ORC title event with resounding success.

Clean Regattas is the world’s leading sustainability certification for on-the-water events. Since 2006, it’s reached 1.7 million sailors across 53 countries, and we’re proud to be part of that legacy.

This recognition isn’t just about one event. It’s a commitment to raising the bar for sustainability in competitive sailing and events here in the Baltics and beyond.
