The 5th Tegernseer Senior Open delivered three memorable days of golf, competition and camaraderie at the spectacular Tegernseer Golf Club in Germany!

Surrounded by breathtaking views of Lake Tegernsee and the Bavarian Alps, players from across Europe and beyond competed in an 18-hole Better Ball followed by the 36-hole Individual tournament.

Local favourite Christoph Günther successfully defended his title, producing another outstanding performance to win the Professional division for the second consecutive year. His superb total of six under par secured the trophy ahead of Mümin Saka of Germany and Urs Kaltenberger of Austria, who both finished at one under par.

The amateurs also delivered some excellent golf. Wolfgang Beitinger claimed the Amateur Gross title at eight over par, ahead of Hanns-Peter Horstmann and Grzegorz Gawronski. Robert Kaiser won the Men’s Net competition, while Julija Steinmann secured the Ladies’ Net title.

In the opening Better Ball competition, professional Leo Geerligs and amateur Herbert Schoepf combined brilliantly to win with an impressive score of nine under par.

A huge thank you to Tegernseer Golf Club for the beautifully prepared course, warm hospitality and wonderful atmosphere throughout the event. Thank you also to every player who travelled to join us and helped make another Tegernseer Senior Open so memorable.

Mike Newell Triumphs at the Prague Senior Open 2026!

The Prague Senior Open 2026 once again delivered three memorable days of competitive golf, international camaraderie, and outstanding hospitality as players from across Europe gathered at the beautiful Prague City Golf – Zbraslav in the Czech capital.

The tournament began with the popular 18-hole Better Ball competition before moving into the 36-hole Individual Championship, with players enjoying excellent course conditions on the challenging links-inspired layout.

The week got off to a spectacular start at the traditional Meet & Greet, hosted on the rooftop terrace of our valued partner Crystalex. Players enjoyed a wonderful evening together while witnessing the solar eclipse, creating a truly unique and unforgettable experience before the tournament got underway. Together with the popular Players Party, it perfectly captured the friendly atmosphere and camaraderie that make Senior Golf Tour Europe about much more than just golf.

The Road to Marbella Continues

With the Prague Senior Open completed, the race for the Senior Golf Tour Europe Order of Merit is entering its decisive stage. There are now just three qualifying tournaments remaining before the prestigious Tour Final – Marbella Senior Open 2026, making every event and every shot increasingly important.

Our next stop is the Tegernseer Senior Open in Germany (7–9 September), followed by the Emilia Romagna Senior Open in Italy (7–9 October) and the Andalucian Senior Open in Spain (20–22 November). These outstanding events offer players the opportunity to compete on some of Europe's finest courses while earning valuable Order of Merit points.

The season will conclude with the Marbella Senior Open Tour Final on 3–5 December, where the champions of the 2026 Senior Golf Tour Europe season will be crowned on Spain's famous Costa del Sol.

Registration is now open for all remaining events. Several tournaments are filling quickly, so don't miss your opportunity to be part of another unforgettable Senior Golf Tour Europe season.

Norwegian Senior Open 2026 – A Fantastic Week at Meland Golf Club

The Norwegian Senior Open 2026 has come to a successful conclusion after three memorable days at the beautiful Meland Golf Club, just outside Bergen. Players from across Europe enjoyed a wonderful combination of competitive golf, great camaraderie, and warm Norwegian hospitality.

The tournament began with an exciting Better Ball competition before the focus shifted to the 36-hole Individual Championship, where players battled for valuable Order of Merit points and the prestigious Norwegian Senior Open titles. Meland Golf Club once again proved to be a fantastic host, presenting the players with a challenging course in excellent condition throughout the week.

Congratulations to all our winners and prize recipients, who delivered outstanding performances in both the professional and amateur divisions. We would also like to thank every participant for contributing to the friendly atmosphere that makes Senior Golf Tour Europe so special. A sincere thank you goes to Meland Golf Club, our volunteers, sponsors, partners, and everyone behind the scenes whose hard work made the event such a success.
