Designed by the German master golf course architect Dr. Bernhard von Limburger, the par 72 Old Course opened in 1968. With its

natural surroundings and parklike fairways, the Old Course is known as one of Costa del Sol's most challenging and prestigious golf venues. Remembered as the finest golf course architect of his time, Dr. von Limburger designed some 74 new courses and remodelled 10 others, mainly in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Designed by Paul Krings, known for creating many world-class golf courses throughout Europe, the par 71 New Course opened to rave reviews in 1990. With spectacular and panoramic views of the Mediterranean and Gibraltar, the New Course is known for its natural beauty. A shotmaker’s dream, the New Course demands thoughtful club selection, as well as careful course management.
