Danish OK Dinghy Championship 2026 🇩🇰⛵

What a fantastic week at the Danish OK Dinghy Championship, hosted by Faaborg Sejlklub!

With 77 competitors, including a couple of German sailors, we were treated to classic Danish summer conditions — plenty of sunshine, a few rain showers, and everything in between. 🌦️

The wind ranged from 4 to 20 knots, providing challenging and varied racing throughout the championship.

A big thank you to Faaborg Sejlklub for putting on a great event, both on and off the water. The racing was excellent, and the social atmosphere ashore was just as good! 🍻

🏆 Gold: Bo Petersen - 1,(12),1,3,5,3,3 16 Points
🥈 Silver: Steen Christensen - 5,(13),4,5,4,2,4 24 Points
🥉 Bronze: Jonas Ullmann - 9,2,9,(20),2,4,1 27 Points

An especially strong result for Hellerup Sejlklub, with all three medalists flying the club flag — and all three* sailing with a BigFoot sail from UK Sailmakers Denmark. 💪⛵

Congratulations to all competitors, and a huge thank you to the organizers, volunteers and everyone who made the championship such a memorable event!
