Dnes je to 25 let...
Soutěžil v Jihoafrické republice nebo Číně. V roce 1995 se dokonce stal absolutním mistrem světa. Akrobatický pilot Martin Stáhalík učil létat žáky z celého světa a nikdy se ničeho nebál. Jeho život však ukončila nehoda v Nizozemsku. Letos by jihočeský rodák oslavil 64. narozeniny.
Žil naplno a miloval adrenalin. Patřil k nejlepším leteckým akrobatům na světě, ale v Česku se o něm moc nevědělo. V roce 1999 byl jako první a jediný Čech nominován mezi dvanáct nejlepších akrobatických pilotů na světě do soutěži World Grand Prix.
Jen čech Martin Stáhalík a rus Viktor Čmal dokázali získat medaile ve všech akrobatických kategoriích. Jeho vášeň se mu ale stala osudnou. V pouhých 38 letech zemřel během výcvikového letu v Nizozemsku s žákem na letounu JAK-52M, kdy už nešla včas zastavit a vybrat plochá vývrtka... 🕊🌤

He competed in South Africa and China. In 1995, he even became the absolute world champion. Acrobatic pilot Martin Stáhalík taught students from all over the world to fly and was never afraid of anything. However, his life was ended by an accident in the Netherlands. This year, the South Bohemian native would have celebrated his 64th birthday.
He lived life to the fullest and loved adrenaline. He was one of the best aerial acrobats in the world, but not much was known about him in the Czech Republic. In 1999, he was the first and only Czech to be nominated among the twelve best acrobatic pilots in the world for the World Grand Prix competition.
Only the Czech Martin Stáhalík and the Russian Viktor Čmal managed to win medals in all acrobatic categories. However, his passion became fatal for him. At just 38 years old, he died during a training flight in the Netherlands with a student on a JAK-52M aircraft when he failed to stop and recover from a flat spin... 🕊🌤
