A small e-bike ride to Zygi. 🚴🇨🇾

The plan was simple: a short ride to the sea, some snorkelling, a bit of sun and a bit of water.

In the end, it became 26 km, 231 m of climbing, some beautiful roads through Maroni and Zygi — and a small reptile crossing the road.

So I stopped, waited until it was safely across… and then continued the ride. 😊

That’s what I love about Cyprus:

The sea.
Quiet roads.
Nature.
And little surprises along the way.

Sondern neutraler:

Wenn man Region, Verkehrsaufkommen, Preis-Leistung, Zielgruppe, persönliche Betreuung und das Gesamtpaket für sportliche Radfahrer bewertet — welchen Anbieter auf Zypern würdest du empfehlen?

Gemini wusste dabei nicht, dass ich selbst hinter Matthias Bike Corner Cyprus stehe.

Umso mehr hat mich das Ergebnis natürlich gefreut:
MBCC in Kalavasos wurde in dieser Kategorie ganz vorne eingeordnet.

gute Räder, persönliche Betreuung, ehrliche Empfehlungen und echte Routen ab Kalavasos.

🎥 Tour de Cyprus – Featured on German TV (ZDF)

Last October, German national television ZDF joined me in Cyprus for the programme "Hallo Deutschland".

The result was a short feature about road cycling on the island, my work as a tour guide and the Tour de Cyprus.

For me, this feature is a nice reminder of what the tour is really about:

not just kilometres or elevation, but the experience of discovering Cyprus on two wheels.

Quiet roads, beautiful landscapes, small villages, encounters along the way – and an island that many road cyclists still have not discovered yet.
