Paphos Tigers RFC As the first independent rugby club in Cyprus, established in July 2003, we are proud to support rugby on the island. Cyprus Rugby is growing!

We are a growing club and always looking for support from those who love the game or want to get involved. Welcome to the Paphos Rugby Union Football Club, the first independent rugby club in Cyprus. Established in July 10, 2003. Paphos is the most successful club in Cyprus having won the league 5 times so far. In addition to the Seniors Team, we also have the Paphos Colts (12-18yrs), the Paphos Cubs (6-11) and the Paphos Wildcats ladies team.

Too often the conversation about rugby revolves around professional sport, player pathways, and elite levels. They all have their rightful place, but this framing diminishes the value of the grassroots.

Let's take back the narrative. Yes, the Grassroots are messy, but it is carried by passionate people doing the best with the resources available. There is honor and beauty in that.
