👀 Picture this:

You’ve had a stressful day: busy family morning, meetings, deadlines, too many things happening at once.

Your nervous system gets activated, because that’s what it’s supposed to do.

But resilience isn’t about staying calm through all of it.
It’s about being able to respond to the challenge, adapt to what’s happening and, when it’s over, come back down again. Instead of carrying that stress into your evening, your sleep, or the next day.

And the good news? That capacity can be trained. Resilience is something we practice in a SUP Yoga session. 🌊

This is why SUP yoga is not yoga on a SUP board 🤯

✨ A seated side bend suddenly becomes a balance pose. You have to actually feel how far you can go before the board tells you: that's enough.

✨ Downward Dog gets interesting because upside down is one thing and being upside down on water is another.

✨Anjaneyasana and Half Hanumanasana become much more active. Instead of just sinking into the stretch, your muscles are working to keep you stable.

✨ And then there's Savasana. The one pose that actually gets easier on a SUP. Good luck getting up and into real life!😴

Most people don't fall in.

The people who are most nervous at the beginning are often the ones leaving with the biggest smile.

What I train during the week…
so I can move like this on the weekend ⛷️

Strong legs help — but performance doesn’t start there.

👀I train my visual system
→ because the brain needs clear input to move precisely.

👂🏽I train my vestibular system
→ because balance starts in the inner ear, not in the legs.

🧠I train neuro-informed flexibility
→ so my body can move without tension or resistance.

⚖️I train balance
→ to react fast, stay centred, and waste less energy.

🌬️And I train breath
→ to regulate my nervous system under load.

🚀When the nervous system feels safe,
movement becomes smooth, controlled, and free.

Strong legs help — but safety in the nervous system changes everything.
