We had an incredible night of racing featuring NASCAR Late Models, NASCAR Thunder Cars, NASCAR Pure Stocks, Future Stocks, and Stackers. It was a night full of fast cars, great racing, and an amazing crowd!

🏁💗 RACING FOR SCHOOL SUPPLIES — SEPTEMBER 5TH! 💗🏁

I’m so excited to finally share something that means a lot more to me than just another night at the racetrack.

On September 5th for Back to School Night at EIR, Candice Pahl Racing will be collecting donations in support of YESS — Youth Empowerment & Support Services.

YESS supports youth and young adults ages 15-21 who are going through difficult circumstances by helping connect them with basic needs, safe and supportive spaces, resources, and people they can turn to when they need it most.

I chose YESS for a very personal reason. ❤️

When I was 13, I was a youth struggling with depression after losing my sister and a very special friend 10 months apart. Even now as an adult, depression, anxiety and PTSD are still things I deal with. I was and am incredibly fortunate to have family support, counselling, and resources available to me during some of the hardest times in my life.

But I also know that not every youth or young adult has that same support system or access to those resources.

After everything the past year has brought into my own life, I knew I wanted to do something special for Back to School Night this year — something that could make even a small difference for young people who may be going through their own battles. 💗

So on September 5th, we’re asking everyone to help us PACK THE #3! 🏁

We’ll be collecting:
🎒 School supplies
🧴 Hygiene products
🧤 Cold-weather essentials
💵 Monetary donations(through e-transfer ONLY, I will post more info on this)

And because we want to make it a little fun too… everyone who contributes will be entered for a chance to win our raffle prizes! 🎟️ 🥳

We’ll have a MAIN PRIZE along with a second prize up for grabs, and I’ll be sharing more details about those prizes as we get closer to race day. 👀

Whether you bring one item, fill a backpack, or make a monetary donation, every contribution helps.

Sometimes something that seems small to us can mean everything to someone who needs it.

So let’s fill the grandstands, fill the #3, and show these youth just how much support our racing community can give. 💕🏁

📚💗 YESS FUNDRAISER – A FEW QUESTIONS ANSWERED! 💗🏁

Since my first post about our Sept. 5 YESS fundraiser, I’ve had a few questions come in, so I figured I’d put everything together in one spot! 🥰

⏰ WHAT TIME?
The collection will take place September 5, 2026 at 5:30 PM during the autograph session at Edmonton International Raceway!

📍 WHERE DO I BRING MY DONATIONS?
Come find the pink & black #3 Candice Pahl Racing car during the autograph session and bring your donations right down to me! I’ll collect everything and handle getting it to YESS afterward. ❤️

👕 DO DONATIONS HAVE TO BE BRAND NEW?
Not everything!

• Clothing can be gently used or brand new.
• Personal hygiene products must be NEW, unopened and not tampered with.
• Undergarments must also be NEW and unopened.

With fall coming up, YESS is especially looking for things like cold-weather clothing — sweaters, jackets, toques, scarves, gloves and boots — along with back-to-school items like backpacks, binders, pens, pencils and notebooks. 🎒🧤

👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 AGE RANGE? 👩‍👦
From yess.org — "YESS supports single-point-of-access to immediate and low-barrier physical, mental, cultural, and emotional health supports and a safe place to stay for youth aged 15-21 who are experiencing crisis in the Edmonton Metro Area. The Youth Support Centre also hosts Monday to Friday Resource and Health Hubs with physical and mental health clinics and youth-supporting resources to ensure youth 15-24 get the help they need, when they need it, and where they need it—in their community."

If you would like a tax receipt for a monetary donation, YESS requires your:

• First & last name
• Complete mailing address including postal code
• Email address

PLEASE stop and see me if you’re making a monetary donation and would like a tax receipt! ❤️ I’ll have a sheet ready for you to fill out with the information YESS needs, which will make it much easier for them to process and email everyone’s receipts afterward.

If you are requesting a tax receipt for new donated items, YESS also asks that a purchase receipt be provided with the donation. 💗

Supporting 50/50 groups at Edmonton International Raceway is one of the most meaningful ways fans can give back while enjoying race day. These groups, local charities, youth programs, community clubs, and service organizations depend on the generosity of race fans to continue the important work they do in our region.

When you take part in the 50/50, you’re not just entering for a chance to win. You’re helping fund programs that support families, youth development, community wellness, and grassroots initiatives that make Wetaskiwin and the surrounding region stronger. It’s a true win‑win: fans get the excitement of the draw, and local groups receive the boost they need to keep making a difference.

This Saturday, support “Manluk Theatre Society” at the track. The Manluk Theatre for the Performing Arts, operated by the Wetaskiwin Theatre Society, is a registered charitable organization dedicated to enriching the cultural fabric of our community through the performing arts. We provide a sustainable, accessible, and affordable venue that showcases live performances while supporting local artists, schools, and community organizations. Through volunteerism, community partnerships, and year-round programming, we create opportunities for people of all ages to connect, create, and experience the arts in a welcoming environment.

Here are some more photos from our Retail Appreciation Night! A huge thank you to everyone who came out for our Meet the Drivers Autograph Session! It’s always a highlight of race night to see our fans get up close with their favourite drivers, grab an autograph, and check out the racecars up close!

You’ll have another chance to meet the drivers this Saturday, September 5! There will also be our Kids Bike Race around the track for our Back to School & Education Appreciation Night. Bring the family, meet the drivers, and get ready for another exciting night at the track! We’ll see you there!
