The feature race from Sept 5th. We unadjusted the changes from heat two and went the other direction which cured the apex push, but we were still lacking some drive off during the race, but it was closer than we've been in a very long time. Started P5 and was able to quickly slip into P4. The 00 of Tony Lambert made us work all race to hold him off, he didn't make it easy to hang on to that spot it was a battle from the first turn all the way thru. The car of shirley was an absolute rocket ship all night congrats to him on the win and to Kaylee Wilkie in the 23 Wilkie Way Racing car on a well earned second, and to Candice Pahl Racing #3 for third place, if we only had another 5 laps we might have been able to give a fight for 3rd place but it just wasn't meant to be. Heat two, we had made an adjustment to get rid of an apex push that we were fighting in great one. It worked backwards to what conventional wisdom says it should so there was a massive mid corner tight condition that lead to an extremely loose drive off. We fell well off the pace almost immediately and were bringing up the rear until the final corner of the final lap when #3 spun and let us squeak into second.
