Surf Canada is the official National Federation for Surfing in Canada, recognized by the International Surfing Association (ISA) and the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC). Surf Canada is the official National Sporting Federation (NGF) and sport partner of the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) and the International Surfing Association (ISA) who in turn is the International Olympic Committee (IOC) gov

erning federation. As such, Surf Canada is solely responsible for selecting Surf, Stand-Up Paddle, and Prone Paddle athletes to compete at international events including the yearly ISA World Championships, PASA PanAm Surf Championships and every four years the PanAmerican Games and the Summer Olympics Games.

One Week Until the 2026 Surf Canada National Longboard Championships!

The countdown is on. In one week, athletes from across the country will arrive in Ucluelet, British Columbia, to compete at the 2026 Surf Canada National Longboard Championships.

This annual championship event brings together Canada's top longboard surfers to compete for national titles while showcasing the skill, dedication, and sportsmanship that continue to elevate the sport across the country.

Surf Canada looks forward to welcoming athletes, officials, volunteers, partners, and spectators for four days of competition on Canada's west coast.

Next week, the nation's top longboarders will once again gather on the west coast to compete for national titles and the opportunity to represent Canada on the international stage.

The ISA has officially announced the dates for the 2026 ISA World Surfing Games. 🌎🏄‍♂️

📅 November 6–15, 2026

“The 2026 World Surfing Games will award one men’s and one women’s team qualification slot for the LA28 Olympic Games to the highest-ranked eligible nations.

The athletes who ultimately fill these Olympic positions will be selected by their respective National Olympic Committees.” -

Sanoa Olin back in the Rip Curl Nationals jersey at Cox Bay 🇨🇦🌊

One of Canada’s top surfers taking on the 2026 Rip Curl Nationals, bringing world-stage experience back to the beach where the next generation is watching, learning, and pushing their own level.

There’s something special about seeing athletes who have represented Canada on the biggest stage competing alongside the Canadian surf community right here in Tofino.

Finals day is tomorrow at 7:00am start, finals starting around ~1:18pm. See you at the beach 👋👋
