⛳️ Ladies Night: Come out Tuesday, May 5 @ 6pm. There will be a fun game of some sort, followed by a short meeting to discuss how to proceed for the season.

The Vauxhall Golf Course will be open on Friday, April 10 at 10:00 am. Dust off the clubs and come on out.

04/06/2026

Vauxhall Golf and County Club annual general meeting will be on Tuesday, April 14 at 7:30 pm. It will be held at the clubhouse. This is open to all members and non members. Come out to find out a bit about how the course operates, it’s financial status and bring ideas for course improvements. Bring a friend or spouse.

Hope to see you all there.

We are hoping to get the tarps off the greens sometime this week. I’ll post when that happens. Once tarps are off the golf course will be open for play, however the clubhouse won’t open for a few more days after the course opens.

Let’s hope for great weather and a great season.

Due to the inclement weather the Vauxhall Golf course is now closed for the season. We appreciate all of you that enjoyed our course this year and we hope to see you all in the spring. Happy Thanksgiving

Ladies Night Aug 27 RED TEES ❤️

Fun Game this week: “Bingo, Bango, Bongo”
* This can be done in groups of 2, 3, or 4.
*The first person to get on the green gets a point (Bingo!)
*The person who is closest to the pin after everyone is on the green gets a point (Bango!)
*The person who sinks the putt first also gets a point (Bongo!)
-There are 3 points up for grabs on each hole.
-Record points separately from your regular round. The highest score between players on your scorecard at the end of the round wins.

🥩 Sept 2: We will have a wind-up steak supper in conjunction with the ladies club championship. If you’re not golfing in the championship, let us know if you’ll be at dinner so we have proper numbers. Your league dues go towards this meal & prizes on the last week (Sept 9)

⛳️ Final Night Sept 9: Scramble (5 holes) & prizes awarded for the year. Please bring a small, shareable snack

* Following your game each week be sure to enter into the draws (for in the sand, water, OB, or on the green holes 3/4) that will cumulatively run all season.

Fun Game this week: “Win, Place, Show”

*On each hole, the lowest score gets three points, the second-lowest score two points, the third-lowest score one point and the highest (if 4+ players) scores no points.
So you have to win, place or show to score.
*If there’s a tie for any placing, award multiple players the corresponding points (eg. 2 players tie with the lowest score - both are awarded three points or 2 players tie with the third lowest score - both are awarded one point)
*Record your total points separately from your regular

* Following your game each week be sure to enter into the draws (for in the sand, water, OB, or on the green holes 3/4) that will cumulatively run all season.

Ladies Night Aug 12 RED TEES ❤️

Fun Game this week: “Fairways and Greens”
-Tee off as normal. If your drive lands on the fairway, award yourself +5 points. If your drive lands in the rough, award yourself 0 points.
-Play your fairway game as usual.
-Once on the green count your putts, then subtract the number of putts from your tee-off points.
-Record your points (either + or -) for that hole. Example: You hit the fairway on hole 1 (+5) and putt 3 times (-3). So you’d write down 2 points. Another example: you miss the fairway on hole 5 (0) and putt 2 times (-2). Your points for that hole would be -2.
-Once your round is complete, count your + and - points from each hole to achieve a total number of points for the round.
-Record your total points separately from your regular round
