Today, September 8 the Golf course is closed to all power carts. We have so many lakes out there that need to be pumped out and dried up. The course is open for walkers, just be prepared for wet feet. If we do not get any rain this evening we are hoping to be open for carts at 12:00 noon tomorrow, sept. 9. We just ask that golfers riding carts to please avoid the wet areas. Drive around them or walk to get your ball. Thank you. 3 inches of rain will do that to a course.

Tough as Nails 4-person open scramble

10:00 am tee off
$400.00 per team - meal and cash prizes
Carts not included in entry fee.

Our course will be set up ridiculously hard with very interesting pin placements and unique T- boxes. It will be challenging and fun and is open to men, women, or mixed teams of all ages. Everyone must tee off from the same tee boxes regardless of gender or age. Exception is hole one and 10 from the cart ramp ( women and seniors 70+ tee off from blue.)

Bring out the long ball hitters, short game specialists and the putt for dough expert for a challenge and a chance to win some good old cash. Cash payout will be determined by the number of entries.

Phone the clubhouse today at 654-403-4085 to enter your team. Don’t forget to give them your handicaps.

This is an open scramble so no minimum limits on driving. Take the best one on each hole.

Congratulations to our 2026 club champions. Juniors required a one hole playoff, senior men’s needed a five hole playoff with 3 players and the men’s net champion was determined by chip off among three players. Very close competition this year.

Juniors: Low Gross - Blake Unteriener (107),
Low Net - Nash Stober (77).
Ladies: Low Gross - Sherry Johnson (100)
Low Net - Ethel Janz (71)
Senior men’s: Low Gross - Les Johnson (85)
Low Net - John Horvath (69).
Men’s: Low Gross - Coleson Friesen (74)
Low Net - Blake Kondor (71)

Coming on Monday, August 24 our mixed night is holding a mini mixed scramble tournament. The theme is Life is a Beach and some fabulous fun prizes will be given out. Two person teams will be drawn. This is for all levels of players and will be a lot of fun. The tournament if free (non-members pay green fees or use their punchcards). It is open to everyone . Tee time is 6:00 pm. Mark this on your calendar as it is something you do not want to miss.

Saturday, August 22 is our club championship. You must be a member to play. Currently we have a large number registered, men’s, ladies, seniors and juniors. Tee time is is 10:00 am. 18 holes of stroke play. We are looking for overall low gross and low net champions. Please enter as soon as possible.

Last years champions were Ryder Brouwers (juniors) Sherry Johnson (ladies low gross) and Ethel Janz (ladies low net), Jay Maloney(men’s low gross), Blaise Unruh (men’s low net) Henry Tolsma (seniors men’s gross) and Gerry Girard( senior men’s net).

Mixed golf night resumes today, June 8, at 6:00. This is for members and non members, beginners or seasoned veterans. Come out and have some fun at the Vauxhall golf course

2 person Mixed league starts today, May 25 at 6:00. This is a fun league designed to have fun golfing, socializing and meeting new people. All levels are welcome beginner to seasoned veteran. Come as spouses, parents and kids, friends, etc. Cost at this time is only the price of a round of golf. If you are a member then there is no cost. If we have enough interest we may charge a small league fee to be used for prizes of some sort. See you tonight.

Due to the weather today, may 17 the Vauxhall golf course clubhouse will be closed. You may take your own cart and golf or you may walk or take a push cart if you want to brave the elements.
