Come join us for “A Spin Through Time”! Our Annual Skating Carnival is this Friday, March 13th @ 7pm @ the Vauxhall Arena. A HUGE thank you to the many local businesses and individuals whose generous contributions continue to make our youth skating programs and this fundraiser possible!! There will be a raffle table, a 50/50 draw, door prizes and more! Doors open at 6:30pm and the concession will be open that evening. We can’t wait to see you there!!

VAUXHALL MEATS FUNDRAISER

We are excited to announce one of our major fundraisers of the season, a partnership with Vauxhall Meats.

This fundraiser plays an important role in helping keep our skating fees as affordable as possible across all Vauxhall Skating Club programs, including CanPower, CanSkate, and StarSkate. Every order helps support the entire club.

20% of all sales will be credited toward the skater’s bond

If a skater does not have a bond, that is completely fine. All proceeds still support the programs we offer

Important dates and details:

Order deadline: Thursday, February 12 at midnight

Order pickup: Orders are expected to be available sometime during the last week of February. A follow-up email will be sent once orders are ready for pickup

Skaters are responsible for delivering all orders they sell

This is a great opportunity to support our club while purchasing high-quality local products. Thank you for helping us continue to offer strong and affordable skating programs for our community.

Happy New Year! Skating resumes this coming Monday, January 5th. If you are planning to register for the January to March half-year sessions, the registration deadline is this Friday, January 2nd! U9 PowerSkate & PreCanSkate sessions are already full but there is still space on the waitlist.

PreCanSkate: Mondays 5:30-6:00pm — $120/half year

CanSkate: Mondays 5:30-6:15 pm — $135/half year

PowerSkate:
U11 & Up — Mondays 4:00-4:45pm — $135/half year
U9 & Under — Mondays 4:45-5:30pm — $135/half year

StarSkate: Mondays 6:30-8:00 pm, Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:30-6:30pm — cost varies based on number of sessions

**REMINDER**

Tomorrow Dec. 15 is our Family Santa Skate and StarSkate Christmas Party!

Family Santa Skate 5:15-6:15pm, regular PowerSkate 4:30-5:15pm & StarSkate Christmas Party 6:30pm!

Family Skate Note: All participants must wear skates on the ice and those under 18 who haven't passed CanSkate Level 5 must wear a CSA approved hockey helmet. There will be no hockey sticks allowed on the ice during the Family Skate. Please bring a donation to support the Vauxhall Food Bank.

**UPDATE** Due to poor road conditions and school closures the StarSkate Christmas Party will be moved to Monday, December 15th starting at 6:30 pm.

Skating starts tomorrow!

StarSkate 6:30-8:00pm

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for check in and registration confirmation.

Those registered should have received an email on Friday with everything they need to know. Please refer to that for any questions you may have.
