No more numb hands, a super comfortable seat, smooth SRAM drive, and great suspension.

Best part? My Ray-2 folds easily to fit right into my Toyota Corolla hatchback.

Everywhere I go, the vibrant yellow gets plenty of smiles and reactions.

I’ve always loved cycling. At 23, I took my first cross-USA trip on an upright touring bike and thought it couldn’t get any better. But I was wrong.

Years later, I’m enjoying the best cycling of my life — all thanks to Maxarya.

After discovering recumbents through a BikeE, I loved the relaxed, comfortable ride and eventually sold my upright. When BikeE went out of business, I started searching for something better. I was told Maxarya made one of the lightest CLWB recumbents, so I ordered one sight unseen.

From the first ride, I knew I made the right choice. The performance, the thoughtful design, the comfort — everything was a step up. I felt more relaxed, safer at speed, and better supported. The Ray 2’s higher seating position made me more visible to cars and gave me a full, open view of the landscape.

Today, I ride the Ray 2E with electric assist — a perfect upgrade that smooths out steep hills and makes every ride feel effortless.

The Maxarya team has been incredibly helpful over the years, always guiding me toward the right setup for my riding style. I can honestly say: this is the best cycling experience I’ve ever had.
