Spartans Cricket Team was formed in year 1978, Ever since the club has boasted some of its talents in all aspects of cricket. The strength of the club lies in the unity of members from various backgrounds including India, Pakista

n, Sri Lanka, and West Indies sharing the intense PASSION for the game of cricket. The Toronto District Cricket Association (TDCA) is the largest cricket league in Canada and North America. The Club had its roots in the strong West Indian Diaspora of the mid-seventies. Many talented cricketers coming to Canada for the first time yearned to play and enjoy the game of their former home lands. The founding members of Spartans CC were predominantly from the small Caribbean island of St. Vincent but also boasted cricketers from other Caribbean territories. Today Spartans Cricket is a vibrant mix of cricketers from all parts of the world who enjoy cricket, at Spartans we celebrate each other’s diversity while embracing what we have in common which is cricket, “cricket lovely cricket”.
