Bikechain A Do-It-Yourself bike shop serving U of T and the public. We offer repair support, free bike rentals for students, workshops, group rides, and more!

Bikechain is a do-it-yourself bike shop located on the University of Toronto's St. George campus. We teach you how to fix your own bike, no prior experience or skills needed! Use of the space is free for UofT students, and pay-what-you-can for everybody else. We offer free bicycle lending for UofT students, and do various workshops and events. We are a not-for-profit organization, so we love our volunteers, and always accept donations of parts and bicycles!

We need volunteers to help lead bike rides!

Bikechain's rides help people connect to their city, improve confidence on the road, and build cycling culture. Every Tuesday evening, we explore parks, trails, beaches, and neighbourhoods across Toronto.

Join us to:
🚲 Suggest this year's destinations
🚲 Sign up to lead or support a ride
🚲 Learn to navigate common scenarios
🚲 Share strategies and tips

You must attend a ride leader training to lead a group ride this summer.

If you already attended a previous training or hosted a ride in the past, you do not need to attend this training. Email [email protected] to lead again this year.
