Ran the mod b-main today.

Feature the car felt great, folded the nose under and we were done for the night.

MWM we won the heat on Friday! Feature redrew 5, we were given a LR flat and pulled off. Wasnt worth changing to hop back in line.

Won the MWM heat yesterday, we will redraw for positions 1-5 of the feature today🏁
8-5th in the Mod, missing the transfer spot by 1 position. We will be outside front row of Bmain 2 in the Mod today.

Unfortunately, our weekend seemed to come to an abrupt end in the very first Midwest Modified heat on Thursday’s portion of the Gondik Law Speedway Northern Nationals.

We took the green not knowing that the top line of the racing surface was still covered in water. When David got into that area, the car was pulled hard into the outside wall, resulting in a significant impact before he was subsequently hit from behind by another car.

The impacts caused enough damage to the car to end the weekend for the 70.

What was most disappointing to us, however, happened after the wreck. Despite the severity of the impact, not one track official came to the car to check on David while he was still sitting inside.

We fully understand the risks that come with dirt track racing. Things happen and race cars get torn up..that comes with the territory. But we also believe competitors should be able to expect that after a significant impact, making sure the driver is okay is the first priority.

Thankfully, David is okay and walked away just sore after the hit, and at the end of the day, that’s what matters most. Cars can be fixed or replaced.

We took Friday night off and became spectators for the night, but then Kyle Monteith offered us up his car for Saturday! 🙌

The track was soaked right before we went out onto the track again....We went 3rd ➡️ 2nd in the heat, putting us in the 8th starting position for the feature. We were able to move forward to a 4th place finish! The car was good and we got held up a bit, but overall we’re happy with the results!

A HUGE thank you to Kyle for trusting David behind the wheel and giving us the opportunity to still get some racing in this weekend! We appreciate it!

We’d also like to give a huge thank you to Cory Crapser for getting us in on Friday and making sure we have everything we need to get the 70 fixed up and ready for our home Invitational! 💪🏁

We had to give up our spot tonight in the Soupdown showdown, but we will be at Gondik Law Speedway the rest of the weekend for the Northern Nationals🏁
