What a fantastic week in Sudbury. 💛💚💛
We were part of an incredibly tough pool and had the chance to compete against some of the best U20 curlers in the country. The level of play out there was unreal, and sharing the ice with such talented teams was an experience we won’t forget.

To all the teams at the U20 Nationals — what an elite group of athletes. The skill, the sportsmanship, the intensity… it was incredible to be part of it. Congratulations to Team MacDougall Curling on winning gold for Ontario, and to every team who represented with pride.
To our families, friends, neighbours, and everyone that supported and sent messages throughout the week — thank you. We felt your support every single day.
To the ice makers, officials, volunteers, and organizers: thank you for creating such a great championship environment. Events like this don’t happen without a small army behind the scenes, and Sudbury delivered.
And to our Northern Ontario community… every cheer, every share, every “Fear the Moose” meant something.
And a special thanks to our coach, Gary Weiss.
Gary has been absolutely stellar this season — steady, supportive, and always finding the right words at the right time. The growth in this team has his fingerprints all over it, and we’re so grateful for everything he’s poured into these boys.
And a big thank‑you to Mike Assad for stepping in for our first two games. Your help meant a lot and kept things running smoothly right from the start.
We wrap up Nationals grateful, proud, and thankful for an incredible season together. Bittersweet to see it end — but what a ride.
