Very proud of the competitiveness our girls group brought to our final summer session. Their commitment to each rep and sequence throughout the summer program set a very high standard. Best of luck during preseason and tryouts. I look forward to working with you during the season!

Next week is our last week of our Outdoor Summer Program! ☀️⚽

It has been amazing having Vancouver FC Academy player Matteo Martino join our outdoor sessions. Matteo has been a great example for our players, showcasing the talent, work ethic, and dedication coming through our local development system.

We’re looking forward to making the most of this final week before the season begins! 🔥

MENTORSHIP

Izzy Burtini’s training mentality is exactly what makes her a great mentor. ⚽️

Training alongside a younger player, Georgia, Izzy showed what leadership looks like through her actions—working hard, staying positive, competing, and encouraging her throughout the session.

Her attitude, behaviour, and work ethic gave Georgia a chance to see firsthand what it looks like to train with purpose and feel the energy of an NCAA Division 1 level player.

That’s mentorship: lead by example, and bring others with you.

ADVANCEMENT

One year ago, Nathan joined our program with the goal to get back into the BCSPL. After being released in June 2025, he could have let that moment define him.

Instead, he buckled in, put his head down, and committed to the work for the next year.

From Division 1 to earning his place at the BCSPL level — what a journey. 🔥

Nathan, your hard work is admired. Your story is inspiring. You demonstrated the epitome of resilience, perseverance, and belief.
