Valterri Viitakoski is the #1 forward for Team Canada — lining up alongside his brother-in-arms Pavel Barber.
Together, they recently defeated the USA at the Americas Qualifier and punched Canada's ticket to the Men's World Floorball Championships in Tampere, Finland this December. 🇨🇦🌍
If that wasn't enough — VV just won a championship with Nokian KrP in the Finnish F-Liiga, arguably the most exciting professional floorball league on the planet. The man wins everywhere he goes.

His résumé doesn't stop there. Represented Team Finland in Ball Hockey. Excelled at the highest levels of Ice Hockey. His father Vesa Viitakoski played in the NHL for the Calgary Flames. Hockey is literally in his blood.
But here's what makes VV extraordinary beyond the trophies and the titles —

He conquered cancer as a young child, when the odds weren't in his corner. He came back. He became elite. He became a champion father. And now he's here — bringing every ounce of that fight, that joy, and that mastery — to help us grow this game.

As the WFC / World Floorball Championships 3vs3 tournament wraps up in Spain, it appears that we may be looking in the future! Will this event, shape how Floorball ultimately gets in to the Olympic programme?

Judging by the countries that participated and the parity across the groups, plus the diversity of member nations that played in this tournament, it sure feels like a new Olympic movement in the making!!?

Great to have our diverse staff represented at the Manitoba First Nations Education Resource Center Conference last wedk. The Conference hosting over 1500 participants and and 100 plus Vendors. Big shout-out to Charles Cochrane at the opening ceremonies to kick off the event.. We are excited to support the wellness programs throughout the communities in Manitoba and beyond.

incredible teaching journey to Vancouver Island with - We had so much fun and met so many amazing people!

Impacting over 10,000 students and hundreds of teachers across School Districts in Campbell River, Courtenay Comox, Nanaimo, and Port Alberni. This initiative is a powerful reminder that the origin story of 'learn to play hockey' often begins with a stick and ball and some guided fun in our school gymnasiums across the country.

Training teachers, teaching kids, sharing our passion for Hockey and promoting the ideals of the Canucks DREAM platform. Thanks RB, SC and DM and our support crew It's been a three year ride on this particular mission and feels like we are just getting started!- follow to keep up with the Journey!

what an incredible experience for local kids!! The Junior Canucks Floor Hockey program is a great complement to the program, Fun, Fast, Hockey!
