✨ BIG NEWS ✨ Worship in the City is heading indoors—for the first time ever at the Southeast Event Centre! 🙌 We can’t wait to welcome you into this incredible space built for the community, by the community.

A quick heads up: we have a no outside food or beverage policy, so skip the coffee run… but don’t worry—we’ve got you covered ☕️

We’ve partnered with to create an exclusive Southeast Event Centre blend just for you! $8 gets you coffee + a muffin/pastry and $2 goes straight back to support Worship in the City.

When we say the Southeast Event Centre is built for the community, by the community, we truly mean it.

The stories, memories, and moments that lived inside the walls of the Centennial Arena haven’t been lost — they live on right here. Built in 1967 and dearly loved until its final days in 2023, the arena made way for something new, but its heart remains part of this space.
Russ Dyck tells the story of the 8‑foot benches you see in the building. They were thoughtfully crafted from fir rafters salvaged from the Centennial Arena itself. Strong, timeless, and full of history, they were transformed by the hands of City of Steinbach employees who cared enough to give them new life.

Even the land’s natural history was honoured. The 5‑foot benches and outdoor rink boards were made from Elm trees that once stood on the surrounding residential properties — not discarded, but respectfully repurposed as part of this next chapter.

This isn’t just a building.

It’s our past, our people, and our pride — carried forward together.

What an honour it is to open our doors to some already amazing "SUMMER IN THE CITY" events here at the Southeast Event Centre !

FIRST: Sticks in the City is BACK! We’re excited to hit the Main Arena Bowl floor June 19–20 as part of Summer in the City!

Schedule:
Friday: 5–8 PM
Saturday: 8:30 AM - 1 PM

🏒 3-on-3 Ball Hockey Action
Grab your crew (max 6 players + goalie) and get ready to compete! Don’t forget your stick, gloves, runners, and helmet with cage
Divisions: U9, U11, U13, U15
Cost: $125/team

Registration Includes:
• Minimum 3 games at the Southeast Event Centre
• Free sports drink for every player
• Medals + ride wristbands for division champs

Teams are encouraged to bring their own jerseys—show off that team spirit!

BONUS: The store will be open Saturday with BIG sales!

Dodgeball is coming to Steinbach! ☄️

We had an incredible turnout of 38 people at our recent Come & Try event with 🔥 It was awesome to see so many people come out to experience organized dodgeball ahead of the fall season.

Why dodgeball?
Because it’s the perfect mix of staying active, meeting new people, and having a blast doing it.

Fall League Details:
Oct 7 – Dec 2 (9-week season)
Wednesday nights
$75/player or $625/team
Low cost, low commitment, high fun
