What a day for the Tars. 🏆💙

Men’s Division 1 punches its ticket to the Nova Scotia Final with a huge 55–19 semifinal win over Halifax RFC.

Men’s Division 2 gets it done at the provincial level, defeating Dartmouth Pigdogs 30–12 to be crowned 2026 NOVA SCOTIA CHAMPIONS! 🏆

But neither side is finished yet.

Division 1 has a Nova Scotia title still to chase. Division 2 has a Maritime Championship waiting in a couple of weeks.

The Halifax Tars 2nd XV cap off an undefeated regular season by securing their second straight Nova Scotia Division 2 title.

A huge thank you to the Dartmouth PigDogs for an incredible game of rugby and an afternoon of hard-hitting fun. Nothing but respect. 🤝

FALL TOUCH RUGBY IS HERE! 🏉✨

Keep the rugby season going with our Fall Touch sessions!

Starting September 7th and running every Monday through September (6:00 PM – 7:30 PM) at Graves-Oakley:

📍 Upper Field (Youth): U10/12 on the close half, U14/16 on the far half.
📍 Soccer Field (Adults): Open to senior players, parents, and beginners! Includes both Mixed Ability and Experienced games (no experience needed!)
With both sessions running at the same time, it’s perfect for the whole family to play!

More rugby is coming to the Tars! 🏉✨

We’re excited to announce our Fall Touch Rugby sessions!

Starting August 31st and running every Monday through September, Graves-Oakley fields will be booked from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM for two concurrent groups:

Field 1 (Juniors): U10–U16 players, split into two age-appropriate groups.

Field 2 (Adults): Open to all senior players and parents wanting to give rugby a try!

We’ll be splitting this field into two groups: Mixed Ability and Experienced.

Because both sessions run at the same time, parents and kids can enjoy the exact same schedule!

Registration & Fees:

Currently registered Tars players: Free!

New/Unregistered Adults: $100 + taxes & fees (covers compulsory Rugby Canada insurance)
