IMPORTANT INFO - PLEASE READ!

We had a pretty good start to spring in the gym, but now that the sun and warm weather is here to stay, we need to adjust our operations.

Starting this week we’ll have shortened hours most days. Please check before coming down!
- We are not closing Sundays right now like most off-seasons, just prioritizing the “busy” times on the weekend, but if weekends become a ghost town we will reevaluate.
- Monday’s “Women Rock” will continue for now, if enough climbers show up…

We will be offering special discount climbing times for all of the Off Season, May to August.
- Dirt Bag drop-in for adults ($12 drop ins) will now run Tuesday and Thursday 7pm-9pm instead of Wednesday.
- Kids/Youth will be discounted Fridays 2pm-6pm
- Families will be discounted 1pm-5pm Sundays

1 month memberships will also be 25% off for the entire Off Season!

Enjoy the beautiful spring and summer weather, but don’t be a total stranger!

Since the dawn of time climbers have been arguing about grades. Now the chance to put your money where your mouth is.

Our new sets will be numbered 1-12/13/etc. from left to right. We have a clipboard at the new wall with a grade range for each climb on it.

If you send the climb, make a tick mark on the clipboard (think Roman numerals). If you can get all the moves, but not fully link it, make a tick. If you can link the entire climb except one crux move, make a tick.

After 1 full week we will tally your input and put on the appropriate tag. In case of ties or blatant sandbagging on the part of the masses…Old Man Flux will make an executive decision.

Yes, it was slush cup…but it was also almost 20° in Castlegar, so f🙃ck it we went bouldering! It was a short but awesome session. Old Man Flux sent his first (and only 🤪) problem post shoulder surgery, then spent an hour on top supporting his minis while they sent, and sent, sent, sent.
Awesomeness in order:
1 - family selfie after we all sent “Crack & Arete” at the Lizard Boulder.
2 - Mini V cruising on lap 2 of the 3 she did. I couldn’t film her casual mantle, since I felt I needed both hands to help, even though she wouldn’t let me🥲. Sound on for Coach Greg beta!
3 - Mini M being goofy mid climb
4 - Mini V chillin on the down climb slab
5 - the best coach around helping on the down climb slab (he went up and down 4 times instead of climbing himself 🥰, but at least clocked his first V5 of the season after we left!)
6 - The best shot we could get of Mini V unexpectedly sending “The Snake” V2! We stacked 3 pads so she could reach the starting crimps, then I supported for the dodgy overhanging feet, but she didn’t need it and kept going 💪💪💪
7 - Team down climb after Coach Greg, Dr. Jeff, and Mini V all sent “The Snake”

Hoppity Hop down to the gym during the day this Good Friday and Saturday! We’re open regular hours Friday (9am-6pm) and Sunday hours on Saturday (10am-5pm). We’re CLOSED Sunday/Monday!
