Sticks and Pucks 13and up 7:00-8:00pm
Canteen will be open!
Please remember chairs are not allowed on the ice and helmets are mandatory for sticks and pucks. No exceptions.
Please note there is no public skate on Saturday March 28th due to a private rental.

Springfield Ball Hockey Academy (SBHA)🥅 🏒

We are pleased to be able to once again offer Ball Hockey to Springfield area youth, U7 to U15 boys and girls .

Academy games and skill sessions will all take place Monday-Thursday all at the Hazelridge Sports Complex starting in April . Academy will run approximately 7 or 8 weeks based on arena availability, until beginning of June

Based on the number of kids participating we would run multiple age sessions:

(U7 coed) Tuesday ’s Hazelridge arena

515-6pm (120$ per athlete )

(U9-U11 minor age)

Girls Academy

Tuesday/Thursday 6-7 Hazelridge arena (200$ per athlete )

(U9-U11 minor age)

Boys Academy

Tuesday/Thursday 7-8

Hazelridge arena (200$ per athlete)

(U11 major age -15 ).

Girls Academy

Monday/Wednesday 530-630 Hazelridge arena (200$ per athlete)

(U11 major age- U15)

Boys Academy

Monday/Wednesday 630-730 Hazelridge arena (190$ per athlete)

Participants of the Academy will be taught basic ball hockey skills , shooting, passing, stick handling, ball control along with concepts and overall knowledge of the game.

Participants of the Academy will focus on skills sessions to start each session then will be placed on teams and play full rules ball hockey games

Participants of the Academy will need to have:

•Helmet (with full cage or full visor)

•Hockey gloves

•Soccer shin pads or ball hockey shin pads

•Jock or Jill

•Stick

•Runners

Academy sessions and games will be taught/coached by
