Losing a horse is a heartbreak that only those who have loved one can truly understand.

Today, our hearts are shattered as we say goodbye to Jet, a horse who was so much more than just an animal. He was a teacher, a friend, a quiet source of strength, and a partner through so many unforgettable moments. He carried beginners with patience, gave confidence to those who had none, comforted those who needed healing, and left hoofprints on countless hearts.

The barn won’t sound the same without Jet. His stall feels empty, and there is a silence that reminds us just how much of a presence you he was. It’s hard to imagine the days ahead without his gentle eyes, familiar nickers, and the comfort of simply having him nearby.

I will forever be thankful for every ride, every lesson, every nuzzle, and every memory. Thankful that he trusted me with his life and allowed me to be part of his.

He runs free now, free from pain, with endless green pastures beneath his feet and the wind in his mane. He will never be forgotten, and Jets legacy will live on through every person whose life he touched.

Some horses come into our lives for a season. Others leave a piece of themselves in our hearts forever.

Until we meet again, our dear friend. 💔🐴🌈
