Thank you to RCA, OARCA and UVIC Coastal Rowing for your support hosting this beach sprints development camp over the weekend.

This camp provided university flatwater rowers an opportunity to test their skills in the beach sprint race format and prepare for potentially racing at the Western Canadian Beach Sprint Championships in June.

Thank you to the Delta Deas Rowing Club for hosting the Delta Deas Scholastic Regatta over the weekend. This regatta marks the end of the season for many Junior programs, and for others is the final stop before athletes head across the country to race at the Canadian Secondary Schools Rowing Association Regatta.

This weekend a new cohort of coastal coaches are getting their hands-on training through the RCA Coastal Coach Practical Workshop, and a new cohort of university rowers are learning the basics of beach sprints to prepare for next month's Western Canadian Beach Sprint Championships Regatta.
