Not just our curling season is over but also our high school careers.
All four of us just recently graduated in the past few weeks and will be stepping out onto our own paths into the world.
Along with the end of our season is also the end of our time curling together as a team. We are all sad to part but still thrilled with how much we’re were able to accomplish together. We will all eternally miss each other’s support and strive we were surrounded with the past couple years.
Danielle will be attending the University of Calgary in the fall to study Psychology. In Calgary, Danielle and Matthew Reynolds will compete together in Mixed Doubles .monteith.reynolds She will be keeping her options open for a women’s team and the University team. Before the big move, she will continue working and hangout with her friends and family.
Jacey will be off to SFU to do a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
Kyara will be working and attending Okanagan collage in the fall to start her Bachelor of Arts to pursue her bachelor of education.
Scarlett this summer will be working, hanging out with friends, and train for the next curling season. She is planning on pursuing a career in the funeral industry. She also will be continuing with curling this season with her new BC Mixed Doubles team with Braedon Harnden. And possibly continue playing in U20s again.
Thank you to all who watched our team grow and improve over the years. We cannot thank our families, friends, and supporters who made our curling journey possible thank you so much everyone!!!
