The Prairies Premier League (PPL) is exploring the potential for expansion in 2027 and is seeking to gauge interest from Saskatchewan and Manitoba clubs interested in joining the league.

This is an opportunity for ambitious clubs and organizations looking to compete at a high level, create meaningful opportunities for players, and be part of the continued growth of open-age competitive soccer across the Prairies.

If your club is interested in being part of the PPL in 2027, we encourage you to submit an Expression of Interest. Please note submission of an Expression of Interest does not guarantee admission to the PPL. Any potential expansion will be subject to a comprehensive evaluation and formal expansion process, including an assessment of club readiness, league alignment, facilities, operations and other relevant considerations.

Further details regarding the expansion process will be communicated to interested clubs following the Expression of Interest period.

The PPL Expression of interest form can be found here: https://saskatchewansoccerassociation.submittable.com/submit/365224/ppl-expansion-expression-of-interest-form-non-disclosure-agreement

Congratulations to SK Referees Anna Crump and Parth Sharma, who were selected to officiate at the Alberta Soccer Tier 1 Provincials in Sherwood Park from August 20–23, 2026!

For both officials, this was their first opportunity to officiate matches outside of Saskatchewan, and they handled the challenge with professionalism and confidence throughout the competition.

Their strong performances earned them each appointments for the finals. Parth Sharma was appointed as the referee in the U17 Boys final, while Anna Crump was the referee of the U13 Girls Bronze Medal match and the assistant referee 2 for the U15 Girls Bronze Medal match.

We are incredibly proud of Anna and Parth, whose work ethic, professionalism and commitment to referee development continue to represent Saskatchewan referees, SSA Referee Development Programs and themselves at the highest level.

A sincere thank you to Alberta Soccer for providing this opportunity and for the continued collaboration between our organizations in supporting referee development across the region.

Congratulations, Anna and Parth!
